What is the chance of finding a Nissho Pro KB106DE in 2017.
« on: Sun, 03 December 2017, 19:52:33 »
From my calculation this keyboard seems to be gone instinct in 2015. Man anyone have any reason why these are suddenly no where to find including in Japan as well? I only find auctions that date back all the way to 2015 being sold for 125 and sealed 475 Euros, Also used to pop up on MM every 3 weeks or so. :'(

Any chance people would be willing to sell it to me for 225 Euro?

They mostly came from one dude in Japan who had a large cache of them. When he ran out they only became possible to find from other folks who had picked some up. They are available in the community but they are rather coveted by the people who have them. I've been looking for one for a long time.

Topre is hard to be in the market for. I can't find anything I want - Topre blank sets, interesting HiPro (104UK, 108UW) keyboards, etc. Very limited supply and it has all been sucked up. Topre themselves seem to have moved onto the R2 and RGB models. I'm always looking for this stuff if anyone has any extras - the most likely place to find these things is in this community.

So since people all sucked it up it's going to be flipped so bad that i probably have to sell a limb to get one :(. I don't see the reason why Topre is going to the RGB route since the mainstream thinks that cherry switches are the superior ones and everything else doesn't matter they could have better just make topre HI PRO key sets and i bet they have more success with that.

Topre is going with the Realforce R2 and RGB because they've switched their whole lineup to MX-compatible sliders.

225 Euro would be an amazing deal. If I were selling a KBD106DE I would imagine they would go for more like $500-$600 range, or higher if you are trying to pry one away from someone who really doesn't want to sell it.

Do you have a collection of Topre boards? :)
