I was here for the last three "drop deadliest deadlines," and I made fun of 7bit like 5 pages ago about "you have to close orders at some point." I think it's fair to say I understood ripster was making a jab at this gb also.

When did people get confused about "avatar" vs. "icon"?  I blame that pop movie guy who used Papyrus as his movie title font!  :-P

An avatar is an interactive icon, a vessel representing and carrying you in cyberspace (from sanskrit - a manifestation of a god in a human body) - much more than just an icon.

Look at your profile. It calls it an Avatar. The picture under your name on forums has been called an avatar for years. I went with the convention.

I see that it includes a |\ key in both alpha and mod colors!  Is there any way to get a `~ key that matches the modifiers?  Anyone know what SP ABS Color code are those?

OK, it does exist in some kits, so I could add it to another kit as well.

Yeah, I know... and that is hardly the only thing that vBulletin does WRONG.  I was just suddenly struck by how pervasive and wrong it is, and thought that this crowd might actually care to use the correct words for what we are talking about.  Then again, sometimes I think we just like to whack away at the keyboard with little to no care for what comes out.  :=-P

It looks like email9 finally got my order right... now, to figure out if I can justify increasing my SPACE7BIT and GNOMEMOD125 and ROUND3/GAMER/ORANGE orders, or if I need to delete them....

To 7bit: I know man, I didn't mean to sound like a huge ****. I updated my order this morning, I'm settled until they actually get sent.

To captain: I have taken to saying "I'm going to be pissed when I want that later and it's more expensive in the classifieds." but that's how I ended up with more aluminum poker cases and keycaps than I can fit on all my boards.

Will you just include it in the ROUND3/TKL kit, or do I need to add something like "ROUND3/TILDE/BLACK 3"?

Can someone help me? I'm struggling with searching for an answer for this. Basically, I ordered a poker and want to buy caps. I'm not interested in any letters, just shift, backspace, return etc. Here's where I am so far.

SPH/KBDRUNNER 1
ROUND3/KBDRUNNER 1
ROUND3/KBDRUNNER/BLACK 1
NOIR/SYMPAUSE
NOIR/MODSYM125
NOIR/R3175S
NOIR/HANDBAGCAP
NOIR/HANDBAGCAPS
NOIR/ARROWDOWN175
NOIR/ARROWDOWN175S
NOIR/ARROWUP225
NOIR/ARROWUP275

Basically I'm not sure what backpace, tab and return are.

Is there a kit that just includes all those keys (is it a "full modifier kit"?)

And...

On the wiki there were some function kit keys

"ANY KEY", "PANIC", "TURBO", "RELOAD", "EJECT", "LAUNCH", "ESCAPE"

and picture keys

"TAPEDRIVE", "KEYBOARD"

Sorry for being a doofus, any help appreciated!

For the NOIR stuff, I recommend:

NOIR/SYMTKL
which consists of quite a lot of modifiers and funciton keys, but no alnum keys.

"TAPEDRIVE" and "KEYBOARD" are not available.

It sounds like you want a MOOGLE kit.  Check around.  hashbaz is running one that is in collections already, so I don't know if he'll let us get in on it... but there are bound to be some for sale in classifieds.  Put up a WTB thread stating what keys you want.  :-)

7bit,

Can you not exempt the BLANK keys from being subject to low quantity fees? They aren't even double shot! I need a TKL set of clear keycaps, BLANK/BLANKTKL/CLEAR, but I get hit with $266 in LOWQTYFEES for a $110 set. And I can't afford $330 to buy 3 sets when I only need one.

What to do?

Well, maybe you can get around it by ordering many keys of a certain type instead. So 29 r1, 12 r2, 11 r3, 20 r4, 7 r4 x1.25, 1 r1 x2, 2 r2 x1.5, 1 r3 x1.75, 1 r3 x2, 1 r4 x2, 1 r4 x2.25, and a spacebar. Might make sense to order 3 10 packs of the r1 keys.

No, just keep it that way. I till have to do some canges in that pricing scheme, so most of these extra fees will go away.

There are no photos of the R4 SPH kit since they're getting made just for this group buy.

The color scheme is based on the Space Cadet keyboard, but these keys won't look exactly the same. http://deskthority.net/photos-videos-f8/space-cadet-keyboard-t1381.html

I've only ordered a couple of the RETRO/WASD colored sets. But if I get an email that tacks on the low qty. fees for these keys I will end up dropping the order. Is it realistically safe to assume these keys won't have the fees attached to them?

I ordered 3 of the ROUND3/WASD and I don't have any low qty fees on my entire order.  If by a couple you mean 2 then maybe... perhaps buy 3?

I'm not sure if I've seen any photos that are definitely of the SA family keys. There's this pic from the Round 4 wiki for sphericals, but I think it might be DSA. http://deskthority.net/wiki/File:Round4_color_sample_001.jpg

Edit: Kind of a last minute question, but are the blank keys in the SPH/PHANTOM and SPH/SPACE7BIT kits blue or grey?

I've only ordered a couple of the RETRO/WASD colored sets. But if I get an email that tacks on the low qty. fees for these keys I will end up dropping the order. Is it realistically safe to assume these keys won't have the fees attached to them?

There are no low qty fees for WASD keys!

For the NOIR stuff, I recommend:

NOIR/SYMTKL
which consists of quite a lot of modifiers and funciton keys, but no alnum keys.

"TAPEDRIVE" and "KEYBOARD" are not available.

Thanks.

Is there a ROUND3/SYMTKL ?

Also, is there a ROUND3/MODSYM125 ?

Just to be sure, will there be WASD Keys with a colored key body (such as red, orange or blue)?

How do you know that?

Until I've submitted the order lists to SP, you still can order as many kits as you like!

This may take until the end of the week, I'm afraid.
