Thanks to everyone for their patience, we are getting through the finishing process and preparing to start shipping soon. The holiday season is always crazy and full of family/work events, as I'm sure you all know.

I ran into a couple of issues over the past couple of weeks, mainly with the quality of the packaging that had previously been ordered. The manufacturer used too much heat when hot-stamping some of the bags, so many were permanently fused shut. I went another route instead, and I'm happy with how they turned out. The Osiris and Mayhem stickers are incredible, and I'm very happy with the quality.

I have some more previews of the MX and WolfJaw Topre stems, so I'll be posting those soon to tie you over until you receive your keys. I'm incredibly excited to have all of you Topre users try out the WolfJaw stem, and it's going to lead to some pretty awesome Topre stuff in 2017.

I'll get you guys another update once we start shipping out the orders in large batches. Thanks again!

Are the eyes translucent on the limited edition versions? It kinda looks that way, or maybe they're glow-in-the-dark.  Either way, they look amazing.

Looking good!
I generally hate all keycaps. Keycaps are for poofs. Real men touchtype on stems. Non-functional artisans are awesome, I use them for the ESC key ... escape is for cowards anyways, real men go frontal assault.

Here are a few up-close shots of the new stems that you will all be receiving with your keys that are about to ship.  :thumb:

Mayhem is featured here, in a neutral grey to show off detail.

156343-0

Up close with the MX bottom, which is shown with a fitted serial number. The stem fits nice and snug without issues across all MX switches. If anything, we tried to make the tolerances as tight as possible.

156345-1

Finally, my pride and joy, the WolfJaw Topre stem. This stem was created to solve the problem of poor fitting Topre artisans, and I'm very proud of the result. Upon pushing the key onto the stem, two tactile bumps are felt to tell your finger that the cap has been seated. It's a very pleasant feeling, which is important to me as a Topre user. It's shown here without a serial number. There is a slight recession in the key for the serial to be placed.

156347-2

156390-3

Finally, bonus picture. This is one of the Mystery Keys that will be featured in a gold bag this sale.

156349-4

A big thank you to everyone for their patience, this has been a huge sale and has required a massive amount of time in order to get everything prepared. I will post the official word when shipping labels start getting printed, and from there it won't be long before your package is on it's way to you.

I've been curious about the wolfjaw for a while. The tactile bump when you put a keycap onto a topre board is one of the dopre things ever, and if you can reproduce that that would be amazing. Unfortunately I won't be able to try them out since I didn't win anything :( Maybe I'll be able to get one in the aftermarket.

On a different note, that special Mayhem looks great! Are those secret extras for select few that won something?

Mystery Keys are included at random in people's packages. They are packaged in sealed gold mylar bags, so you won't know what you're getting until you open it up.

Re: KeyForge - Scythes and Scepters SHIPPING 1/9
« Reply #987 on: Thu, 05 January 2017, 00:31:19 »
Keys will be shipping starting Monday, January 9th.

You will receive tracking once your label has been printed, and it should go in the mail the next day. Please be patient as we print labels and ship out orders in batches. I will announce when all packages have been shipped, and then you can contact me if you did not receive tracking. This go-around I will be using Paypal for all tracking and shipping, so you will receive a notification straight through Paypal when your package ships. Shipping shouldn't take more than a few days, and the sale will be concluded.

I really appreciate everyone's patience with this sale, you've all been great.

P.S. There will be a quick leftover sale once shipping is all out, and the leftover keys will ship immediately.

Quick note to everyone:

Monday (tomorrow) the sale will begin shipping out. Keep in mind that in order to stay as organized as possible, I will be printing out labels in groups. Once you receive a notification that your label has been created, it will go into the post the next business day. Don't fret if you don't immediately get your tracking, everyone will be taken care of this week.

Shipping labels will be printed all through the week, and shipping will conclude over the weekend. I will post an announcement once all packages have gone out, and then you are free to email me if you did not get tracking.

Please be aware that if you emailed me about change of address, you will be in the last group to ship out and you will not receive tracking until this weekend. I hate to do it that way, but it takes time to change addresses and keep everyone organized. I have a system for printing labels, and it just takes a bit more time to manually intervene.

The leftovers sale will happen this weekend, so stay tuned for more details on that. Thanks guys!

ANNOUNCEMENT

Once all packages have been shipped out this weekend, the Scythes and Scepters Leftover sale will open. Unlike our previous sales, this will be a First Come, First Serve format. You will be allowed to choose up to three keys from available inventory, and the first responses submitted through the Google Form will get what they asked for until all remaining inventory is gone.

This is going to be a sneaky-beaky sale, so be prepared.

I will post a link to the Google Form sometime this week. The sale itself will open Saturday or Sunday at a moment's notice, and it will quickly close. I would highly recommend preparing your responses according to the format beforehand so that you can easily drop them into the Google Form and click submit. There will only be a blank box, nothing else.

Geekhack Username: Sneaky Potato

PayPal Email: sneaky@beaky.com

Choice 1: Mayhem - Nightshade, MX

Choice 2: Osiris - Chlorium, Topre

Choice 3: N/A

CONUS/INT: CONUS

Please put N/A in a Choice slot if you only want to go in for one or two keys. You only get three choices, so choose wisely. Shipping is $5 CONUS, $14 INT.

If your order is fast enough, and we have the inventory, you will get everything on your choice list. If not, you'll get what we have available from your choice list. Please do not include ANY keys in your choices that you are not willing to be invoiced for. YOU MAY ASK FOR MORE THAN ONE OF THE SAME KEY.

Here are the available keys, which is pretty much everything except the LE keys from Scythes and Scepters. Note that there are extremely limited numbers of each.

Finally, to top it all off, one lucky GH'er will get the chance of first pick among the leftover inventory, before the leftover sale opens. The contest starts now, and will go until Friday.

RULES:

Post a time-stamped picture of the most hilarious and creative thing you can come up with using fruit as the main subject of the photo. Huge bonus points for creativity here. The winner will get the chance to choose exactly what they want from the leftover inventory before the sale opens, and will have no limit on the number of keys they can pick. You have several days, come up with something good. I could use a good laugh after working my ass off.

You do not need to enter this contest in order to enter the normal leftovers sale.
