Hello All,

A couple of users expressed interest for these, so I have obtained quotes and turned this into a fully fledged IC.

These are to complement my Ghost switches which are currently in GB phase and have hit MOQ! https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=104781.0

This is an Interest Check for White Stabilisers. These will be a recoloured Durock Stabilisers with Pantone 0601 Brilliant White housings and gold plated wires.

Pricing as follows...

2u Stabiliser :- £1.94 GBP ~($2.50 USD)
6.25/7u Stabiliser :- £2.33 GBP ~($3 USD)

MOQ is for 10,000 stabilisers, no minimum of each size.

I love the idea of matching stabs, although I dread the prospect of disassembling my board in a month or two to install ghost switches and disassembling it again a month or two after that to install ghost stabs. Plus filming the switches and tuning the stabs. Ugh.

Unfortunately yes, the MOQ for custom colours is 20,000 parts, a stabiliser has identical parts on both ends so only 10,000 stabs as MOQ.

IC is currently at 1,449 stabs.

That MOQ is harsh, though... Switches is one thing, people buy those in the hundreds, but most keyboards use 3-4 stabs in total. That's like, if everyone who bought 100 Ghost switches then had to buy 50 Ghost stabs.

Just to clarify, these would be opaque correct? Since I don't think we've seen any non-transparent Durock stabs yet.

It is certainly a daunting MOQ, I think it could be achievable.

Did you reach out to any vendors regarding this? It seems like getting a vendor to stock them would be the only way to get even close to MOQ.

I agree, this might actually be a good idea for both switches extras and the stabilizers themselves. Really hoping these will still be made, salivating the thought of these switches and stabs in a frosted acrylic case.

If anyone wants to they are welcome to. I will be purchasing some for my store. Just not quite enough to make MOQ. Currently we are standing at 2700 of 10000.
