A little bummed out about the two base kits.

I really love the look of the green ESC, spacebar, and enter in the preview pic but not quite sure I am willing to pay for 2 base kits to get it :/

Whoa, just noticed all of the updates here. Very cool. A few questions:

1. Is there really no other option than the novelty for a windows key?
2. Any plans of adding a darker green accent like you have in the desk mats? Really pops and makes the colors more vibrant.

1. Will see how it goes when I receive pricing quotes, if I can fit a couple more keys in base. For the moment there is no other option. The petal novelty acts as a GUI kind of key, so I think it works and fits well in this context.
2. Definitely not adding any more accents or colors this far into the IC.

This color scheme is so darn clean. I love it. The only dealbreaker (as echoed a few posts above) is the novelty as the "super" key. As a mac user, it defeats the clean visuals I was hoping to achieve with this set-- fingers crossed if you were able to fit in standard text keys. If so, I'll be picking up both sets! Otherwise, everything else looks amazing.

Just checking in to let you know what's going on.

- I've added 2x 1U + 2x 1.25U Super keys to bases. Concerns for a clean base have not gone unheard. Just waiting for updates to post.
- Few people have asked about the original deskmat designs. I sampled 5 mats for this set, the 2 originals did not turn out well at all and would require a lot of fine-tuning to get up to standard. The 3 backups came out perfect. While I understand there were a few people excited about those designs, they just couldn't make the cut. Hope you will consider supporting the 3 other designs, as I feel they will look great with either base kit.
- I do not feel the confident that slightly more obscure spacebar kit will make moq, therefore that is getting cut for GB. So 2 bases, a novelty kit, and accent kit will be available for pre-order.
- Working on another collab that will be revealed shortly. It's a bit hard to contain my excitement.
- Cable collab to come very soon as well.

Next update very soon, cheers for the support this far, it's been a long road for this IC and I'm quite happy this will getting going soon.

Good news. I just also wanted to say that your base kit design (for me anyway) is almost perfect. With some good spacebar options and UK ISO is is a great place to start. I will be buying both base sets for that reason. Good work.

Those are actual manufacturer samples of the desk mats, yes? I’ve not seen mats where they print on top of the stitched edging before! Is that commonly available from most manufacturers?

Base kit is priced a bit higher than I imagined, but I also expected a MOQ of at least 500 since I thought this set would be pretty popular.
But the rest is very reasonably priced, so it makes up for it. Excited to join the GB :thumb:

Multiple base kits presents challenges to high MOQs is the only issue. Especially with all the set competition lately! It'll be worse in a few months when we have the same number of sets in group buy but also a heap going up for extras. Such is the times
