Worth noting, you can install plate stabs for the 2u keys ;D
Really cool project!
So with the acrylic bottom - are there LEDs on the bottom of the PCB I assume? I didn't see them in the photos.
The way they figured out wireless is amazing, using a receiver is much better than Bluetooth, makes it compatible with KVM easier and I use 2-3 computers at the same desk. I wish there was a lower cost solution utilizing this implementation.
I want to join this but given it's a "traditional" group buy instead one through a trusted vendor there is only so much money I am willing to place faith in that kind of group buy, $350-400 is well over that.
I hope these end up in the wild though! good luck.
So i assume the programming part works similar to hasu's usb to usb converter? Is there a qmk fork link available yet or is this something you are working on right now?we are testing the qmk now, seems it works all right with windows but have some problem working with linux
If qmk support works smoothly, this might be the qmk + wireless combo i was looking for a while now.

This really is a great idea, I hadn't considered using a usb2usb adapter like this. It's great for desktop users, but the large dongle is a bit of a killer for many laptop users I imagine. If I didn't have too many projects already I'd love to play around with something similar, I really hope to see someone offer a more midrange board with a simpler acryllic / polycarb / plastic case.

Yeah for a laptop, the big dongle is a bit much, I don't think these are something to travel with though, at least from my perspective.
Any likelihood of the ability to tent / tilt this?
Looking forward to this! First board I’ll have made by ALF. I bet that pearl white is gonna look amazing!

Wish I saw this in the IC phase. It would be a for sure buy for me if it had one more key on the bottom row for lower/raise like this:Show Image(https://i.imgur.com/Wee4Kvu.png)

those battery holders are a bit confusing. They look like they're on the side the switches go into. are we gonna have to take out all the switches to change the batteries? or are they accessible from the bottom of the pcbs?
Can I change the bottom layout of the right keyboard?

That will look great! I am deciding between gray and white right now. I don't have dsa drifter but it looks good on all the white keyboards I have seen it on. Which SUK artisans will you be pairing it with. Did you get any of the mall ninjas to match as well?
Thanks for the support! The Pearl White finish is absolutely amazing

Pearl White looks as if it has that nice spaceship white. Like the 2001 or Alien spaceship interiors color. Confirm? :DJoined for pearl white. I've got DSA Drifter with matching SUK artisans waiting for it when it arrives. :thumb:

Man, I had the same struggle. I think Drifter is a really nice looking set on ortho/ergo/40% boards, but I worry the white hue will be off enough compared to Drifter to make it less matching. Did you happen to see Drifter on a white board in person?
Pairing it with a SUK Superpower Patriarch and Keybuto II. The Superpower colorway is insanely well matched with Drifter! Didn't get any of the mall ninjas, although I was tempted. I think it'll look cleaner though with just two dedicated artisans, one on each half; Patriarch half - Keybuto half. Are you getting some special caps for your build?
Hey, not sure how I would put it, if you use pure white as a reference, the pearl white is a little bit warmer than pure white; and it has a creamy, milky feeling to the finish.
I have taken some shots of the Pearl White with the dev/tty MT3, not sure if you have seen them.

Like it so far! Tried gaming (FPS) on it and haven't noticed any lag.
The GB form is still open, is the GB still live?

I know you have bigger fish frying as we speak with the Think6.5 but I would love to see another round of the Unigo66.
The split keyboard community needs more of these beautiful premium selections!
I Would Buy One Right Now if I Had the chance!
How about any updates? Are the remaining orders going to get made?

Any idea when someone could expect to see a couple of the pearl white order ship? It's been a while now.
Mine finally came in today, but mad struggling with how to program it properly. Im basically stuck at the step to turn on the darn thing so that the receivers recognize itSame here. Really happy with the build quality, but there could be better instructions on the usability and software side of things. I'm following the email sent out just before I received mine. Here's the text in that:Show Image(https://i.imgur.com/u7g4s1t.jpg)

Hi everyone:
Your UniGo66 are on the way. Unfortunately, I forgot to pair some of your boards with the unifying receiver so the board may not work once you receive it. You can pair with the following steps:
1. Install the logitech unifying app.
2. Plug one of the unifying receiver directly into the usb port of your pc.
3. Open the app and follow the pairing guide. Turn on one of your boards(left or right) and pair it with the receiver.
4. Plug in the other one of the unifying receiver and pair it with the other hand of the board.
5. Plug both the receiver into the U2U dongle and plug the dongle into the usb port of your pc.
6. Enjoy your board.
I'm stuck on steps 2/3. One of the unifying receivers I got isn't recognized by my computer and when I go through the pairing process with the one that does work, neither of the boards will pair. I'm totally guessing which side is "on" and "off" for the power switches on the boards, but I've tried it in all combinations I could think of. Maybe the batteries have run out? I don't know if there are any indicator lights to show that the board is powered on, so it's kind of difficult to know how to troubleshoot from here.
Please let me know if you got yours going, or any tips from anybody else!

I got mine opened up and surprise; no batteries... I found some documentation for these things pinned on the Alf discord server on the unigo 66 channel that really helps explain things though. The batteries are CR 2032 ones, so once I get some in from Amazon, I'll continue through the process of pairing the boards with the receivers.Mine finally came in today, but mad struggling with how to program it properly. Yup pretty much exactly describes my experience. At least we know the receivers work with the software, it definitely recognizes when its plugged in and it appears to be permanently seeking each hand.
I think it's worth opening up and checking if the batteries are dead. I forget the exact kind of batteries it takes and I haven't had the time with work lately but it was definitely my initial plan. Let me know if you try this out to any luck!

Would love to see that documentation if possible! I remember trying an old expired link to said discord channel and couldn't come across anything unless you'd be willing to provide that
Thank you so so much!
Here ya go.
Anybody know how to flash this thing? (Again, no documentation included. Build-quality is _amazing_, but Alf or Sirius should probably hire someone to write a small website or something for their next product – hunting through Chinese "docx" files that won't even open on my Mac for basic instructions on how to even turn on my $400 keyboard is, uh, less-than-ideal.)
Hope this makes a R2, dream keeb. But I joined the hobbie to late
