How much can a koala bear?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Never seen a Koala before, do you guys have KBDMania/OTD links that I could read up on?

I am also curious, or maybe some more pics! :)

Koala is a very expensive case/keyboard due to the curves, not many were made/ordered due to this reason, it uses the regular A.87 PCB on the inside

Overall a very cool looking keyboard, definitely no the easiest to find in the wild

MKC copied the Koala case design, the quality of MKC I cannot speak for, but the Koala workmanship is top notch

http://www.kbdmania.net/xe/photo/3177393

EDIT: that could be a MKC case if he didn't post it here, I can't even tell tbh :X

I definitely like the blue or pink.

I find keysets first and then customs to match them, typically.
but things usually work the other way in terms of finding a custom first and what not.
