Fine, most recent vote will cancel previous vote. It's more work but I guess I can do it.

For the purple, it's worth it =)  Thanks lysol.  After tonight, I will be contacting GMK with our poll results for a final quote.  We can then begin the GB immediately following their response.

A black on purple alert would be good looking.

I don't mind what the result is, I'll most likely buy it unless it's something horrible.

Still, chocolate and cream.

Coffee and cream will need to be a full set.  Doesn't look right with the remaining grey keys:

Also, I imagine we'd want cream legends on the coffee keys and coffee legends on the creams.

If more people are interested in having a full set for coffee/cream, perhaps it is not the best choice for you to select as a modifiers pack? I mean, if you will want it as a full set later anyway... just throwing that out there.

I don't know I guess we didn't establish that before did we? Let's just say 00H US central time as both Dan and I are there.

Down with brown, green's not keen. Up with purple... uhm, something that is good that rhymes with purple?

Yellow, anyone?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Looks good hashbaz, just need to remove the text from tab, shift, enter, backspace and use the lock icon for the caps lock key and it would be what we are planning on using legend wise. Some of the colors are in the colorchip photo, otherwise use your best judgement.
What's the reason behind removing the text from the keys? I've always thought that the best thing about doubleshot keycaps is the cool looking text, especially on the enter key.
Hell, we even tried our best to replicate those keys in most of our RGB and moogle kit group buys.

Personally I think the modifier pack with only just those symbols looks boring, just like most of the original EU DS sets. I prefer the ansi set any day for the same reason.
I'm eager to know what other geekhackers think about this, a poll on this matter would be definitely interesting.

^In my opinion, the best part about the Cherry keys are the sharp corners, thick plastic, and exceptional overall quality.

Never understood why there was text on some modifiers in the first place. If there is already a symbol, then why would you need the text? it just makes it look more cramped, and would especially on a left ISO shift.

I never understood "CAPS LOCK" to my mind it should always have been shift lock, capitalisations to match the other mods.

The profile is just perfect, especially combined with rectangular custom cases, still I would be disappointed without the text on the keys. Imo that left arrow on the backspace just looks silly.

Well, it does only LOCK THE CAPS, NOT THE 12345 KEYS.  You still have to hit Shift to type those!

I agree with Rigs, the sharp text is what I love most about Cherry keys.  I believe the idea with the textless mods though is to be as inclusive of as many languages as possible.

Contrast of the text is amazing!
