1. Fix the num row to make it consistent with the rest of the sets: the numbers and symbols must have the exact same size and position as its Latin counter part.
2. Actually using the Cherry legends, which is very noticeable with ~, some of the alphas (Z, X, O...), other punctuation marks such comma, dot, <, >, ? and significantly the brackets and braces. This is something that for the first round or Striker wasn't able to fix and I'd really like to change for this round.

Thank you! This has been the one thing that's bothered me whenever I see the Latin + Hiragana sets in person, very glad to hear its being addressed.

This design looks really cool.

I think you have included incorrect ISO keys however.  The row 4 "\ |" is included... and then duplicated in row 3 to fill the spot next to the enter key. This should be "# ~". You have included a "#~" ley in the international set - but I'm not planning on buying an extra international set just to fill in the single row 3 key that's missing!

I have no plans to change those and if I were to change one it would be the R4 one for a `~ for the Intl. English and Dutch ISO layout that Apple uses, but that would also require adding an R1 §±.

Hey Geekhack staff, would it be possible to rename the "interest checks" subforum to something more appropriate? I was thinking along the lines of "vendor advertisements", locking threads after OP post and maybe one or two reserveds, and then forcing everyone who actually wants to get feedback on their projects merge to "building stuff together" area of the site? I see you feel this thread has no room for discussion or concerns so I think it would be more efficient and comprehensible this way. Are you guys at all surprised nobody takes this platform seriously and is consistently misused when the only actions by you are literally removing discussions? It's always so shocking how it takes days (sometimes even the whole GB period of a project) to get a thread approved by moderators that show up twice a month just to check up on how well this ad site is going, and then to remove any semblance of what a forum is for.

By supporting the Minivan I'm stating that it is OK to support a company that doesn't care and wants to screw over community members.

This is not the first time we've had this conversation, this is not the first time you've used the "calling the mods" card when I've never done that, and this is not the first time I've declined and given you my point of view of this situation.

I gotta say man, the Irony here is fantastic.  Like legitimately the amount of irony in a single statement is just fascinating.

It's funny because the Oceanographer is my board, not Evan's.  There MB44 is Melonbred's board, not Evans.  If anything, you are screwing over an entire segment of board users because you still hold a grudge that someone almost overthrew your awesome money making scheme. 

I remember when MoDo Light came out and Janglad was so against adding Minivan support.  Then, when he added it the kit hit MoQ on Day 1.  DAY 1.  100 units of it sold along with 100 base kits.  That was a full 5% of total sales for MoDo light.  (I think they sold 2000 kits?)  To continue to hurt community members from your own set shows you continue to hold the community back, instead of helping advance it further.  People need to stop putting you on a pedestal because you're not really a contributing member to this community in any sort of positive light if you're honest with yourself.

Again, everyone should vote with their wallet, and if you want to hold on to this petty thing that you believe "screwed over community members" while you do the same, that's your prerogative but it's a bad one at that.

Which goes back to Kokaloo's response which is that these aren't really IC's but rather just advertisements because he's unwilling to make any changes nor ever consider actual feedback.

Given the post replies you have been making over the years on GH (most of which have been deleted by moderation) and other platforms, I'd rather not support your projects either. Your comments have only reinforced my decision of not including that specific key on any of my sets.

Most of which weren't that bad but someone felt butthurt enough to report them and get the GH silent mod team to just delete instead of giving a reason. 

Again, not that you'll give a damn because you're ignorant as hell, but the 40's community has been and will continue to move the hobby forward and in a much more positive light than you ever will.  YOU will continue to hurt the community yet think you stand on some type of pedestal or something because people unnecessarily praise you.   The 40's community is the most innovative in the hobby and it's not even close.  Most of the ideas for the big boy boards?  Yeah those came from those of us in the 40's community in the first place. 

I'd wish you the best of luck in your keyset, but you don't need it because again people just blindly support you for no reason other than "He pick colurs gud".  One day you'll be mature enough to look back and realize just how stupid you were being by omitting something from a keyset of all things because you were afraid someone would squash your precious profits you rake in.

I really have to applaud the effort some people put into making themselves unlikeable. Personally I actually reconsidered my own stance on this subject not too long ago, but after seeing how some individuals open the conversation, I quickly dismissed that thought.

Evan was straight up ignored by the person who started this protest, and continued to be throughout efforts shown with apologies and open inboxes.
Eventually people who own these layouts feel ignored and get to a tipping point, since everything that you have suggested that should be done has, and been tossed aside.
It's absolutely shameful how long this grudge can go on for, especially when a side has grown up from it.
But hey, I can only imagine this will be ignored as well, and designers can push to claim that the people clamoring for one ****ing keycap are all just a bunch of trolls. But I really hope not.

What else needed to be done in the year that you were reconsidering that wasn't said in that post?
You personally ran a few sets that didn't have Minivan compat in that timeframe, and when a group of people are largely ignored they rightfully feel there isn't much power in pushing you to fully commit your reconsideration.
You can't claim that it was possible to have your mind changed when you gave literally NO options or means for people to do so after the fact of attempting peace. That's completely unfair.

It's kind of funny that out of all the people who are Boycotting 1.75U backspace, you are on the top of my list of "I honestly don't mind, because he's pretty chill about it at least".  So I get why you feel the way you do.

I have asked, quite nicely I might add, in the past of Zamb multiple times.  Even suggesting that one day He and Evan get a beer together and hash it out lol.  But that was met with hostility by Zamb and a few others multiple times.  T0mbr3y just straight up ignores it and it's kind of sad lol.  And Olivia and I hashed out issues with her previous sets so I'm good with her and she knows that.

So all that's left is you and Zamb, and again you seem the most chill about it. 

Serious question for you though, do you feel that missing out on potentially another 100 base + 40's kits is worth the boycott?
