I still haven't gotten an invoice, so if he's just been going down the priority list, I'm probably getting my later choices. Kind of crazy, since I was scared at first that I might have sent it too early (at the 59 mark). Can't wait to find out though!
I knew that had to be the case. With the delays in data transmission the people whose emails showed up in his inbox as 10:00:00 had to have sent them in too early and the people like me who waited until 00 or 01 to send had their emails show up way later.
Right, the goal is to make it into his inbox at exactly 10:00:00.001, so sending it before the countdown timer actually hits the "0" mark is both a) risky, your order could be early and be disqualified, and b) necessary, if you want to be first to the inbox, based on network delays.
Also, the countdown timer might not be exactly synchronized to the mail servers which place the timestamps on the emails. So there is a fair bit of luck involved.
