What is the deal with this SA 2x2?
« on: Tue, 21 December 2021, 12:24:11 »
Yes, we all know that POS systems use 2x2 keycaps. We have all seen them. I am not asking about the shape, I am wondering why these keycaps have only two stems, and the other two 'stems' are just little bumps. I asked on reddit and didn't get any info about it. Really curious how/what these were used for.

I bought 150x of these, sold about 3x... lol.
EDIT: Posted a video on reddit of how this switch feels/sounds. You can see the flex when pushing on the side without the stems: https://old.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/reh76s/this_2x2u_sa_keycap_has_some_weird_stems_but_i/
