Kailh could really one up Cherry if they came out with a Ergo Clear switch.
ooooh, what's an Ergo Clear switch?
Clear stem w/ brown/red spring.
Then, that is essentially what the brown K-Switch (mx compatible) is. It feels as light as a red/brown, but also has the light tactility of a clear...try it Mikey, you might like it...
So it looks like you are only stocking 5 of each board - is this a test run?
Also are you planning on stocking K switches for repairs or for crazy bastards to make a board out of them?
You can say that. Keycool has such a large catalog that in order to try to carry everything they have available for those interested here in the states, we purchased them here and there. Add to that the vehement angst against the Kailh MX-Compatible switch...but mostly it was due to the overall performance of the last keycool run...we like keycool as a brand and we trust that they know what they are doing with these switches and I will tell you why:
They have been in business a long time.
They could sell only keyboards with Cherry MX and not be able to sell them due to the Chinese Cherry Switch shortage, or...
They can sell them using a switch type that is readily available and continue to sell keyboards.
Simply put, use Cherry Switches = No keyboard sales
Use Kailh Switches = Sell as many as they can...sounds like a good business plan to me, despite the naysayers.
And believe me, Cherry MX switches have their problems too...
