They received switches last week. They're starting on it this week and he'll be able to provide an ETA early next week.

Great news.  Thanks for the info.

I figured they would say something like that.

Thanks again for the update.

I'm glad you guys are sticking with Keycool.

I may have to try one of those brown Kalihs...
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

Current ETA for V60 MTS is early to mid September.

I sincerely hope the V60 MTS gets hit hard with never ending demand.  The market place really needs more high quality Alps keyboards; I hope the competition is watching.

I think it is awesome that KBP has acquired and will be using the Matias Alps Switch. Very cool indeed!  :thumb:

KBParadise will also be coming out with a V80 TKL.

I hope they will make Matias switch versions of those as well.

Dark grey PBT dye subs for the FC660C. Basically the same caps that ship with new ones to replace the pad printed ones that came with the old ones.

Just the keycap, not the board.

V60 arrival date keeps slipping.  How confident are you on the latest estimate? (August 6th as earliest)

Waited around for one of these for quite a while now, starting to wonder if I wouldn't be better served buying a Poker II and taking the effort to swap the switches with Greens or Whites (or maybe tactile grey?)  Just want a 60% keyboard with keys that push back!

The delay is due to quality checks. I'd prefer them test the boards before shipment rather than assuming they all work 100%... which has them leaving Aug 4. Hopefully you feel the same way.
If they leave Aug 4, they should be here next week. But I've extended the ETA into the following week just in case something else arises (Customs, FedEx, etc) and it gets pushes back a day or two.

It shouldn't be that delayed, but it's up to the 13th just in case. As of 15 mins ago, the keyboards all checked out and are being packed. The keyboards should be handed to FedEx Monday, Aug 4th with us receiving them later next week. Should something go wrong or be delayed, please give us until the 13th.

Any plans on getting those backlit PBT key caps that Vortex is coming out with? :D
Yep. Placed a PO yesterday. Receiving 200.

Thanks for the link there.  Those legends actually aren't to bad but my OCD kicks in a bit with the combination of symbols and text legends on the perimeter keys and the navigation cluster.

How will these work if the LED's are under the switch as opposed to on top? Thinking of using them on the KBP V60 which has the LED's on the bottom of the switch :/

So basically dark unless the brightness of LED's is turned up to max.

Ya, I would expect so.  I have tested Ducky Shine keycaps on a keyboard with LEDs on the front of the switch.  In that case the stem is translucent as well, so it did work reasonably well.  Since the stem on these ones are black, I really don't know how much light you will be able to get to the POM piece...

This is an awesome idea for a thread.

I would really like the Realforce 104UK HighPro Which is essentially the 104UG But with a better colorway imo. It would be great to get it as is, or for extra oomph get it in that colorway but with just English letters.

and the Filco High Profile 104 US keycap set.

So, this might seem kind of an odd request, but if I'm seeing it right, you only carry the clear in PCB mount. Which means that if you want PCB mount something else, an overachieving hobbyist would have to buy x-number of desired keyswitches, and x-number of clear PCB-mount, and swap sliders and potentially springs, at roughly double the cost.

How complicated would it be to get a bunch of PCB-mount lower housings, empty? Or maybe broaden your PCB mount selection a bit ... Two projects coming up that I'm thinking of is a 10-key in reds, and a 60% in either blue or green switches.

Great news :)

Will you guys be getting both case styles?

Also, it's hard to understand through translate. Does it say if these new models will be plate mounted, or mention a release date?

Yes, we will be getting both CNC and cast frame. ETA is 2-8 weeks from Aug 5. Unsure if they'll be plate mounted.

Awesome.  I'm definitely interested in the non low profile one.

Do you think there is any chance they'll offer clears?
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.
