I've ordered some EL wire to have a play with, lets see how it turns out, but I don't think USB provides enough power to them

I've seen a review where it says that USB provides plenty of power for whatever lights they're using, still think this is going to be ridiculously hard to do though bro! :D good luck with it anywho :)

PS how's my cable coming on? ;)

Anybody into their PC modding or would like to match their cables to their board or PC colour scheme, heres something that you'll love, it also helps improved air flow and neatens up the inside of your case! Can choose from ANY of the cable sleeving varieties and colours (2 as standard)

Could you do coiled cables for Model M / Unicomp keyboards?

Have you got the cables or do I need to get one? I did some research a while back and I couldnt find an SDL crimping tool under 600GBP!!!

Well, for my primary Model M, it is hard-wired to PS/2; same for my back-up Unicomp.  For the M-60 (which will someday work) it would be mini-USB to USB to connect to the Teensy/Soarer.  Probably all with a strain-relief.

The key thing is the coil cord.

Sorry not getting back to you, but coiled cables are cool. I can do them in paracord no issues. MDPC and Shakmods sleeving may be a little trickier, but should be fine.

These cables look awesome. I was looking at the geekhack desktop share thread wondering where everyone got those great looking cables, but now I know :) Going to have to get some when I do my next build!

Thanks for the kind words man.

Sorry for the lack of update peeps, been doing a hell of a lot of PC sleeving recently, namely a lot of PSU cables and extensions. Heres a little pic of what I have completed today, a few 24 Pin extensions and 8 pin extensions, in MDPC black and copper sleeving.
