Part of the point of the subforum is that eBay helps handle all the legal ramifications of deals gone bad.  It seems redundant to enforce our own rules on top of that. 

Plus, these caps would be posted in the "Great Finds" subforum anyway.  At least this way we know that it's a 0 post user and we can act accordingly.

I'm sorry, but at some point the buyer really needs to take at least *some* responsibility.  Do your research, be smart, and read the feedback/responses posted in the thread.  If, after reading the above comments, someone still wants to buy the cap, then more power to them.

There were many that did not have stamps, especially in the sales hosted on K3's site.  But I've heard rumors that he distributed some exact replicas locally - not sure how probable that is, but it's entirely possible and IMO fairly likely. 

But now we're just speculating, so I'm not sure if we should continue with that.  I think the point has been made that the buyer should beware here, no need to keep taking the thread further off-topic. Let's take the more general K3 discussion to the "fake Clacks thread".

Well, it's definitely not skeletor, so as far as the eBay listing goes that's false. but not necessarily a fake either. Was the name ever found for this one? from Clack Info thread: #29

the face of the original clack looks to be that off-white glow in the dark colour, but the one in the ebay photos has a pure white face

Looks like reproduction not original. Some of the flaws found on real clacks are present, but greatly exaggerated (i.e. under teeth, around stem, "temples" above the eyes.). This is a telltale sign of remolding an original. Even if it is true to a known colorway, some of it is very off.

I've asked the same question above and I do not think it is possible since you could, in theory, also fake the logo.
