Ran into this while out browsing, and thought this might be of use for making keys/keycaps.
Shapeways 3D printing - Materials (http://www.shapeways.com/materials/)
It might be an easier option for those of us who want custom keycaps and can live w/ their tolerances (1mm min thickness). That, and they do stainless steel.
