I was reading a thread about mousepads here in the forums and remembered my Sci-Fi Channels mousepad.  It has the blue "Saucers" image on it.  It is pretty cool, but that got me thinking about something else.

I once had 2 walpaper designs from the Sci-fi Channel.  One was the blue "Saucers" like my mousepad, and the other - red "Gargoyles:.  The images came from their TV ads and station identification breaks.  Those were my all time favorites.  Sadly, I was selling the computer they were on and forgot to back them up when I had to quickly pack up the computer for delivery.  I would really love to have them back.  I have tried to locate them again over the years, but haven't been able to find them again.  Has anyone ever seen these or even still have these wallpapers?

Just be sure to turn off the NSFW filter. Then it'd REALLY be able to help!

It's also pretty funny. Turn NSFW on and look at the most popular wallpapers.
Do people really use them? I mean, nothing against naked chicks, but I don't really see the point in having that kind of picture as my wallpaper.

I might just be weird, but I find this rather amusing.

I really don't get it either.  Who would want some of those images as a wallpaper?  I guess some people do, but their not for me.  I am not into the porn thing any way.  My wife has even commented on the fact that I don't visit any of those sites on the Internet and thinks I'm kinda wierd.  But then again, I guess it's kinda wierd for her to be OK with it if I did.  Besides, the only porn I have is when I log onto GeekHack to look at some of the vintage keyboards.

Ooh, look at those lines.  What kind of switches do YOU use?  Yeah, I can see your legends, click right... there...  8~)

I understand the ones with the naked girls posing, and the ones with sexy ladies posing, but the ones with people having sex and the ones with the girls with jizz all over them is just weird. Why would you want that as your background? That's not something sexy unless you're the one doing it!

they are more then likely popular just because its easy to access porn, couple clicks and you have tits and ass.  personally I dont see why someone would want any of those as their desktop.

I don't know...  Even if I were single, I wouldn't want something like that on my desktop.  It just doesn't interest me in the least.

There is no right or wrong answer. Personal preference. Most girls I go out with like the hot desktops I use. I'm pretty much an alpha male and they accept it as part of the package. It's fun!

... I didn't, until now I always assumed it was maybe a clay figure and maybe a keyboard of some sort, never did take a good look at it.

I've always seen a wizard wearing a tall wizard hat when I looked at his avatar with my peripheral vision. I have to actually focus on it to see the legs :p

I dig the (Mercury?) program space suit...vintage. Woulda been cool had they sent Marylyn Monroe instead of monkeys and test pilots...
