Title: [IC] Archetype Deskmats
Post by: Mekanist on Tue, 21 April 2020, 21:36:52: Hey all Mek from Archetype here. Hope you're doing well and staying safe. I just wanted to get your feedback on a few (okay maybe more than a few) options we've come up with for our deskmat design.

The idea behind the deskmat designs are a minimalist approach with a Swiss design emphasis and bright color combinations.

UPDATE: Thank you guys for the amazing feedback. Im closing the IC as we had an amazing turn out (almost 800 entries). Next steps are to analyze the data and finalize the designs based on feedback. Let me know if you have any questions!

I agree with this. I'd be way more into these deskmats if they didn't have any text on them — the designs are otherwise phenomenal! As it is, I probably wouldn't get one (sorry!).

Also makes them stand out a little from other mats!

Post by: veelut on Fri, 15 May 2020, 21:32:10: the text would be annoying to see in person, in my opinion. without it, i feel it would be unbalanced if it were just a white box. if you were to do it without a white box, i feel you would have to shift things because the composition would feel off.
