red scarf II 60+17=77key
« on: Wed, 23 April 2014, 08:08:56 »

Board re-design of the chip as well as the use of atmega32u4 74HC138
Do a full light design,
You can cut the digital area

It's a 60%, with various layout options, plus numpad on the same PCB, and you can cut off the numpad. :)

Woah. I see it now. And you can attach it to the left too? Dang. So the first pic is showing different positions of the space bar and modifier keys?

Yes, those are the different layout options for the bottom row and numpad zero, plus, and enter. Also, it's not shown, but you can use 2u backspace or 2x 1u keys there.

The one with the numpad on the left is the back side of the PCB. :)

Also, it uses the same mounting holes as the Poker/Pure/GH60 (and also the GHpad).

I like it with that lightsaver style layout though. 60% + Numpad with the 1.5x mods. And that arrow cluster.

Yeah this is perfect. Someone posted a similar layout in the LightSaver V2 group buy thread but I'm digging this one even more with the function keys changes.

I use ISO boards at work, but I have THE perfect work board, so that just stays at work now. At home I tend to use ANSI, well no, I do use ANSI, none of my ISO boards get a look in at home. nor do they at work. i don't know why I have so many keyboards :)
I got boards.

Wait, what? There are 3 space bar rows and a num pad on the PCB that you need to sever with a machine, then somehow reattach the pieces you want?

The multiple rows are just showing the possible options. You don't need to detach the numpad, you just can if you want it on the left.

And as for programming the keys, does anyone know how this will work?
Much help is appreciated!
