Approximately how much will the display boxes cost and is there an ETA for when the order period for them will begin?

They're probably going to be around $15 -- that's what they were for raindrop. Could possibly end up being a bit more because Bunny had some trouble with the logistics of getting them shipped the last time around.

Once it gets shipped to you guys, what's the usual turnaround on getting it shipped out again? I'm hoping to have the set before I head back to school on August 16, when I still have time to agonize over configurations, but if that's not possible I understand completely.

When you say " our ship date " does that mean two weeks until they're sent to you, or out to us? I'll be away on holiday the last week of July and I'd hate to have this in my mailbox.

We wait for your announcement Bunny  :thumb: .  I can't wait to choke myself on all the Toxic Caps coming my way, it would be something to bundle these with actual Toxic Waste when shipping it to Australia (new waste dump for the world).

Am I the only one that has thought it would have been nice to have had the option for some of the keys to be blank and either TOXIC or GX?

Order some blanks from SP then. It would have been interesting for sure, but I don't think it was really the point of this buy.

They have overstock blank GX right now, and they'll probably have some overstock TOX at some point. I recall reading somewhere that SP was going to keep the colour for future projects as well.

Do they have it in DCS or DSA profile though? Almost all of their blanks are always DSA.

Can you post a link? The SP website isn't loading on my phone for some reason. I would love some blanks to go with my toxic set. What row are they for?

They have stock in r1 through r4 1x blanks, but only a couple for row 2. 200+ for all the other rows. It's only GX they have in stock at the moment (grey). They don't appear to have any of the larger keys in GX.

Thanks! Just wondering, where did you get information about the color code for the green of the toxic set? On SP's ABS color codes, all the greens start with V. Was it a custom ordered color?

I have no clue what the colour code for the toxic green will eventually be at SP. In danielucf's original Toxic GB thread, he called the colour TOX, and for lack of a better name, that's what I'm using.

Way back when this all started I think the SP code was going to be VDA, but will not be available for other stuff until this buy goes through, iirc.

why does it take like 3 months to create some plastic?

tons of reasons. you think 3 months is bad? the usual was minimum 8 months before pmk and ctrl.io got all fancy. for this set, i know that the colors are new, so they have to work that out. for the galaxy set pmk is doing its a much more complicated process. granite had new legends. etc. then you take into account that while we give SP a ****load of business, its probably not their primary source of income, so they have to schedule it around their normal stuff, then theres the fact that theres a queue of projects as well. I know for a fact that Round 5 is under production, and thats gotta be a ****LOAD of keys. and thats just off the top of my head.
