I buy a numpad every set and even I think the numpad should be separated from the alphasI can split them, but thought it was better to combine them so a base + mods would cover a whole keyboard. what is the downside of including it? Depends where the tropical hideaway is, but there are lots of places that go from relatively shallow to very deep water very quickly (hence the much darker green to blue).
The C seems to be the wrong color if you want a diagonal gradient.

I believe not being strict diagonal is intentional because the 4 is also a different color. I think its to create a wave effect (tide moving effect).

I don't think the skateboard with pole is a good subtitute since it's a noveltie version of the pipe key |\, while the castle is home. Maybe we can make the turtle a FN subtitute?

Glossy caps look stunning. Coming from standard GMK/SP sets, will those shiny candies use some special technique of polishing during manufacturing process? Or maybe it's the other way around - gloss in real is just regular smooth texture we used to see everywhere else, but the sandy ones use some special treatment for extra-grainy texture? Or BOTH? :)There is no treatment. Keycaps are fabricated by plastic injection, the texture is entirely determined by the mould. So keycaps are directly getting that finish.
Final Kitting!
The kits are split into 2 parts. Sand (kit A) is always Matte, and the water can be Glossy(kit B) or Matte(Kit C).

I'm not sure if you're interested in organizing artisans, but I've seen some great beach/ocean themed spacebars, and curious to see if you might be interested in organizing something with an artisan maker? I'm usually not a fan of artisans and spacebar artisans even less, but this one seems like it could be a great opportunity.

1. Hm, sorry if I wasn't clear or if I'm misunderstanding something, but I know the the right side of the alphas (the sandy side) is matte and the left side of the alphas (the water side) is either glossy or matte, but what about the TKL mods? Do we have a choice there too?
2. I personally don't know many artisans, but I know Jelly Key is one of the larger resin artisan keycap makers. It looks like for the alpha kits you might've uploaded "Alphas Glossy" twice instead of "Alphas Matte"?
Also, I find the kitting right now between matte and glossy to be kind of confusing. If sand is always matte, I think naming a kit with sand in it "glossy" can be slightly misleading? Some more specification in the kit names might be helpful for when this set goes to GB, just so people know for sure which kits are which.

Uh, considering a lot of folks are asking for refunds because the Ave still hasn’t been delivered a year later and Royal has been pretty poor with communication, if you have info to share, please do. I’m currently holding out on asking for a refund, but I’m not thrilled about us being ghosted.

Uhhh good point! I also have the same problem, for my split keyboard I need a 2.25 U and 3 U spacebars (or blanks). Is it really too late for a spacebars kit? :'(
I don't think June's a good idea.. there is a ton of popular sets going down this month, and May was packed too. It would suck pretty bad, if after all the effort put into designing this set, if it did not meet MOQ.
Maybe i'm wrong, and that's the way every month will be going forward in this hobby, but I don't know..

I agree June is a bad idea, but my reasoning is more selfish. I'm still waiting on my first KAT order from May of 2020. It would be nice to see if Keyreative can actually deliver a quality set. With the quality control issues I've seen on every set released, I'm not sure I can put more money into a startup. That is what Keyreative is, a startup. They used the money from the first set of group buys to buy their equipment after their supplier failed to produce quality keycaps, but Keyreative is still having quality issues.

Kam wraith turned out pretty well. A couple of small issues but nothing I would consider terrible.
Is there a diagonal alphas kit for ortho AND a straight alphas kit? Looking on Keyhive, all I see is the generic alphas kit (diagonal). Just want to confirm before I hit "buy". Or do I need to get the Ergo kit in addition to alphas to make it straight? Thanks!
