I am a software developer from Germany with a growing interest in vintage hardware. As my current keyboard (some cheap blue Cherry) is falling apart, I thought it might be interesting to examine the current market of decent mechanical keyboards before blindly buying another cheap "this one won't last" toy. It seemed to be so straight forward. Alas, I had no idea!
Expect dumb questions in the foreseeable future - I plan to buy a (or more?) new(ish) keyboard(s) before this year ends. I haven't quite decided yet, but IBM looks like it wants me to have its old stuff...
This will be expensive.
