Contrary to popular belief,   There is a Method to this..

Teal is stylish,  but fundamentally it is provided as a service to the audience, to preserve legibility while reducing eye strain of severe contrast.

The "orange" in the light theme is not very legible against the beige background. It is too amber.
The light theme uses a reddish orange as link colour, which stands out much better.

Whoever uses light theme deserves noting better.

Your Science will get you nowhere!

Orange was voted "Most dapper tint of 1979" in 1981 by a jury consisting out of the mayor of New castle and his pet German Shepard.

Beat THAT.

Three can play at that game, but with a proper colour.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

A bit of yellow would do wonders to brighten up tp4's day.  And his screen.

Do people still have signatures turned on?  I turned them off years ago in response to some eye-watering signatures that were going around, and haven't missed them since.
