MMR is the only thing that matters. I was in Diamond for 8 seasons and the last few times I was in I played about 50 games per season and had a 70% w/l ratio, but was no where close to promotion even being top8 diamond for weeks.
Tbh I think you just need to play ****loads of games and not worry about w/l so much

It is normal to loss points after a promo? I was close to 600 points, got a promo, now I'm at 402 points.

To which league were you promoted?

It's normal if you go from Diamond to Masters because they have a different bonus pool system.

Basically, hides behind cannons and builds void rays+carriers until he maxes out. I doubt he has a follow up if the push were to fail.

But if he is going to turtle that hard on a few bases... expand like mad... pretty cure infestors rape void rays and stop interceptors :P you spread ur creep so you know the second he moves out and engage on his side of the map. Then remax on what ever...

Try what again? Congrats on having an internship, I have a job, one that requires me to be away for a month or two at a time, meaning I can't ladder.
So I come back to my 8x dia account or something and get placed in silver... 40+ wins later and I'm back... so yeah, I ***** about having to swim in **** b/c I can't ladder uvry duy like a baller super high roller intern kid.

But what the **** does that have to do with blizz removing mmr decay (coz of all my tears amrite?) and fixing the ladder dist so that its proper spread out and not the cluster **** it is now?

Why would you put fixed inside quotation marks?

Becasue everything blizz has done with the ladder since they introduced it has been bad and every time they say they are fixing it, usually nothing happens.
Like when they introduced mmr decay and it was crazy and everyone complained, so they said they would make it less aggressive... and nothing changed.
So now they say that they are making it so league % are proper and there aren't .8% of people in masters it's hard to believe they will fix it, when its been so clearly broken for so long...

Slapped down? All you did was mention how you were unable to be at the pc for a month or two congratz mang, you have a job situation that is different from most people. Followed by trying to bait me by calling me a kid, fell for it a little the first time, I'll admit that.

Me and lencher (sorry bro if I spelt your name wrong lol) were bantering about this a few pages ago. Then I made a random joke comment about how blizzard we going to 'fix' the ladder and you post this:

Weren't you the one whining about not being able to stay in diamond cus of ladder decay? lol

Like, it came out of know where and was a jab at me for, what? I'm not the only one suffering b/c of MMR decay, I think Lench is still to get back into masters. But I guess you thought I was an easy target b/c I post the most in this thread?
So, you call me out, I give you a pretty jokey reply by Internet standards and don't take your random jab too srs and then you **** the bed.

Like, chill the **** out bro b/c you didn't rustle this 30yr old bloke, all you did was confuse and bewilder a guy in his 20s ;)

Why do people care so much about the league they are in? Everyone whines about the peprcentage distribution, its like saying: Blizzard please make masters bigger so I can be one...
This sucks more than anything that has ever sucked before.

Or it's like saying, can it work as you designed it ;)
Though I'm no where near masters level, I think it's more to do with Gold league being so huge compared to Bronze and Silver coupled with the insane MMR decay which in one season can see you drop two to three leagues.

Though i have a buddie who is easy masters, has 5 accounts all of which have 90% w/l ratios in diamond league. Has wins vs a lot of GM's and still can't get promoted, that's pretty silly if u ask me ;)

I know, I suffered through the decay too. But in the end who actually cares, if you have master level skill you will be in it eventually.

Edit: My point being the league distribution is the last thing we need to complain about..
