AS400 122 keyboard mods?
« on: Sun, 06 October 2013, 18:26:18 »
Hello, I happen to have a couple IBM 3476 Infowindows (twinax) sitting around with keyboards. So I'm looking at them wondering what fun thing to do with them; gee, I happen to also have a Raspberry Pi available too. So what I was thinking was to Pi the Infos and use the 122 keyboards with the Pi but with USB interfaces. The keyboards have the AS400 style RJ45 connectors, though. Has anyone ever hacked as AS400 122 board to work with USB? The keyboards are awesome as they have the programming logic for keystroke binding. Weird question, I know but perhaps someone has even done something like this before?
