I am SO interested in this. I have wanted more fully plastic keyboard cases out there, but that are truly high quality. Awesome work, dude.

What's the melting point of this stuff? Wondering if it's possible to Cerakote (which can be baked at relatively low temperatures if needed).

Edit: is there any chance of that sweet oil spill finish on the weight in this one?

Fixed ISO plates will be available and plate files will be open sourced during GB phase.

I've been told that POM (Acetal) can be cerakoted, but will test to make sure.

For PVD finish options, I will post a poll soon.

Is this going to be 3 pieces or just 2? One of the pictures shows its 2 pieces and one shows as though its broken up into 3 similar to the MINIVan keyboard below

This is awesome! I personally think plastic cases have a better sound signature with tactile switches so this is right up my alley. The design is really nice also, the WKL top looks particularly nice IMO. The one question I would ask though is why just white? I think this case would look great in black!

By the way, how resistant is POM from scratches and dirt/discoloration if I may just ask?

Will you release plates files after IC is over for folks who want to put a custom layout in the case?

I'll definitely buy one when it comes time, really interesting having a full POM board.  :thumb:  Might go for a brass plate extra just to switch up the sound a bit.

Approximately 2lbs w/o weight and 2.5lbs w/ weight

And also, would the surface be smooth or is it a little frigid?
The surface is soft to touch but feels rigid. Hope that makes sense.

POM is very durable and scratch resistant.
