very cool set.  I gotta ask, though, are there plans to send the haus65 into IC/GB? =)

Yes! Limited Haus units will be made available to the public. No Geekhack IC, but details on public offering will be announced in Discord early next week.

I'm not British, nor do I know anything about racing, but I appreciate a clean green set. Being Aussie, I'll just interpret it as my national colours.
P.S. small typo: "as well as complete UK ISO and numbed support." -> I guess if you have to input data and numbers all day and need that numpad you're going to be a bit numb.

A really cool idea would be a Rama cap similar to the striker japanese flag cap but with a white enamel center with a raised racing number in black and the rest of the cap in british racing green. Essentially representing the vintage aston martin race cars.

This is pretty awesome. Are you going to make novelties for this set? I'd love to have some old racecars as novelties. Also, have you considered green alphas? I'd love the set even more with green alphas.

Very, VERY interesting set.

Couple nutty ideas:

- Given the base kit goes with English (UK) over ISO (plus English (US) over ANSI), consider adding R3 \| and R4 <> to the exotic kit.

- How 'bout replacing the Code legend in the bottom row modifiers with Race? Or Start?

Looks good Lewis.

Thoughts:
I do think that WS2 might be a bit too bright in contrast with the mods (I think WS1 or 3K might fit a bit better) and might make the green legending look darker than they might be. British racing green is quite a drab colour and with contrast with the alphas I think will make it feel like they don't fit together. I could be very wrong though.
Automotive based novelties might go down well as a lot of people are at least interested in cars and a few iconic cars have used this colour. (carrying on from what depletedvespene said, perhaps a Pole winkey? as in Pole Position?)
Oh, and Icon+Text pretty please.

Fantastic set and looking forward to it.

Only input is that the white on the alphas may be a bit too white and can look a bit like one of the taihao green/white sets.
I think just a slightly warmer white would work better a give a more vintage vibe in keeping with the british racing green.

Otherwise still a great set. Good job!

British Racing Green is a fantastic colourway, all for this! What about some classic days of motor racing novelties? I’m thinking driving goggles, old-fashioned steering wheels and defunct motor car companies (Austin-Healey, perhaps?)

Thank you all for the incredible feedback here, in Discord and within the IC responses. If you haven't yet filled in the form, I'd love to hear your feedback on the set.

A small update today! We now have kit renders by the talented DaleSnail (you can check out his work at https://dalesnail.mx). Check the initial post at the top of the thread to get a look at them.

I feel in context, WS2 should look really nice against the green legends/mods. From the work I've done with colour swatches against various shades of white, I feel like the bright white of WS2 should work pretty nicely. Having said that, when I posed the question of WS1 vs WS2 in Discord, people did seem divided. If you're reading this and have an opinion on shade of white, please let me know either in the IC form, or in a message. Soon I should be able to get some photos of my RAL swatches against GMK colour ring caps which should help with this process of making this set as great as it can possibly be.

I'm currently working on a novelties kit for this set, and you can expect an update when it's ready. From the initial feedback I've seen people are on a similar wavelength of what they think will look good. If there are any novelties you'd like to see within the theme let me know! As for mods, text + icon is actually my favourite usually, however for this set I feel the minimalism of icon mods gives the set a really crisp feel in a way that I feel text + icon wouldn't.

Gold is most certainly the colour but I don't love those designs.  Needs to be more bold/simple.

I'll be honest that yellow looks closer to the gold you find on a John Player Special than the Daffodil Yellow you usually see paired with a British Racing Green.
I do love the inspiration though and think this is one 'fine piece of kit.'
