Okay, so I've been asking around the vendor commuting regarding GMK's production timeline and practices, because I don't think it makes sense for them to place this at the end of their queue given all the delays and how small this set is. However, I also wouldn't want to delay sets any longer than they have been.
I think the best solution is if they can produce this along side others sets already in the queue that use the same colors (L9, CR). However, the consensus among the vendors seems to be that it would indeed go at the end of the queue but the actual production time would be short since it's just spacebars.
So I guess the question is...how patient are you guys given it's just spacebars? I also wonder if Originative might restock by then.
Would say, JTK be an option? If they can match to L9 and CR well, and their lead times are shorter, it might be a good alternative. Keyreative also makes Cherry-profile ABS blanks, though I owned their black set and their black is lighter and greener than CR. Not sure of other vendors - everyone else does PBT (might be viable depending on if they can nail the color matching).
For CR - I also ordered a GMK Bleached spacebar kit a while back, which comes with black CR 6.25u and 7u spacebars. I'm splitting up the kit with some other people (the WS2 bars are going to a friend who went in on GMK Noel but forgot to order the minibars, and I'm selling off the CR minibars - 3 people have PM'ed me on Reddit about taking the CR split spaces for their GMK WoB sets), so it should run me only maybe $5-$10 to get the 6.25u and 7u bars. Bleached is shipping out now, and there will probably be extras available soon, so this is probably a viable option for people looking for CR bars. There can probably be arrangements made between people to split up the WS2 bars, 6.25u and 7u CR bars, and the mini-bars, as there's different audiences looking for each.
