Kirby would be pad print only. (unfortunately)

I've always liked the Atari logo, looks nice.

Anyone remember know this?

difficult to make a light color on black key....
and almost impossible to make as detail...

Clearly, it's an ouroboros. I'd get one, 'cause I'm into ancient Greece/Egypt.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orobouros

Hmm, the URL of your image is from "fourth horseman press" or something. Did someone take this and appropriate it into something modern/popular? People are always doing that, and it keeps getting me into trouble. (When people are talking about "Gray's Anatomy", they are probably not talking about the famous medical textbook of the 1860's.)

It indeed is a Orobouros,
but this particular one is from the 90s' TV series "Millennium"
created by Chris Carter, the creator of X-file.
I am a huge fan of the series. The fourth horseman is one of its episode,
the fourth horseman press seems to be one of the fan page,
which have both of the image files I found randomly online,
and I hotlink it.(kinda bad thing to do?)

I noticed some people had Jolly Roger caps and I recently noticed techkeys.us started stocking doubleshot white-on-black Ghost Mods. Then it hit me last night.. a keycap with the Bowser flagpole emblem would be awesome.

Hi everyone, this is my first post to GeekHack. I purchased a Filco Majestouch 2 TKL about a month ago and love it. So, here's my idea for a custom keycap. Grateful dead steal your face logo... Do y'all think somthing like this would be possible to manufacture?

It really depends on which printing you are looking for... if its doubleshot I don't think the thin liens will be possible.

This...

But This.

(for the link-phobic: OCKC DS-86, but with dark "hot pink" or dark magenta, instead of orange... and/or a black modifier with matched legend-color option)
(also: various sets made w/ the charcoal, but with an alternate secondary color, an option for black, legend-color-matched modifiers, to only barely-contrast the charcoal)
(maybe think: like the "valentine" set, with the "dark" pink, but with charcoal, instead of white... or, same dark-pink legends, shared among charcoal keys w/ black mods.)

OH, and: lots of short-shift keys, for both the Pure and the Race. <-- most profoundly awesome keycap idea ever recorded. ^^

And/Or: a set made for the Race. (yeah, that's right, DCS with R5 F-row that SP won't even make!)

When it comes to "keycap ideas," i can't help but think of those short-shift keys, and blatant lack of options for the Race.

Idk, felt like posting. <.<

The design might not work on normal keycaps, but I can imagine that looking very slick as low-profile wooden caps on a scissor-switch keyboard.

My signature hasn't changed since 2012. I should really update it.

It'd look even better on a cherry ML. Unfortunately, I feel like the mounting style of the keycap on the keyswitch might be hard to do in wood, Still, it'd be awesome.

Wow, that picture is old! We've named a ton more elements now. I also predict it will be some time before another new element is found, 'cause we HAVE isolated everything up to 118.

I mean, it's missing Darmstadtium, Roentgunium, copernicium, and two that have been named since I last checked, Flerovium and Livermorium.

I'd be in for periodic table keycaps. They'd be great as dyesubs.

I don't usually like novelty caps, but for science! No J and Q kinda sucks. The Japonium got shut down as a name I think. I don't remember any Qs in the nominated names for those unun elements.

Has anyone ever done NFL or NBA team logos?

Logos of that sort are completely locked down with copyright.  It goes like this:

0900 - get an idea to make ANYTHING that uses any major league sport logo
0902 - post idea to the interweb
0910 - sketch some ideas on your notepad
0920 - receive a cease-and-desist letter from ML sport governing body
0945 - hellfire equipped drone starts circling your house

Neat premise, but I don't think anybody cares about winkey besides a handful of people ( I personally use it quite a bit but already have a replacement cap on my board for winkey)

Gamers disable it or take it off completely so they don't tab out, average users don't even know what it is, and even power users generally have one hand on the mouse anyways.

And seeing how much "love" windows 8 has been getting (see the relevant thread in off-topic) I doubt GH would be chomping at the bit to update to win8 logo.
