I'm very sorry for the trouble getting a ticket from overseas was causing you and will definitely mention your point in a feedback meeting so we can improve in future and maybe use a different service.
It seems the service we are using for tickets underwent some changes and now printed QR codes don't work anymore. Thank you for letting us know.

Well.. sadly I'm not going anyway. Circumstances made me cancel my entire trip to Japan.
I found that the event ticket can't be cancelled or transferred.
I'd think that not being able to get the ticket back, so that someone else could get it isn't ideal for you as organiser.
I'm hoping to visit a Tokyo keyboard event some time in the future. The DIY scene there is definitely something special.
