I ordered 67g switches, but in case if I find them too heavy, I got a pack of 62g springs off massdrop. However, are these 62g springs going to have the same weight as in 62g zealio switches?

No.
Massdrop's reselling some of Gateron's stock springs with weird actuation force ratings. The Korean rating is based off of bottom out, so your 62g "massdrop" springs will be heavier than any of the springs offered with Zealios.

Yeah, the whole point of the purple zealios switches are to offer 3 diff weight variants for ergo clears

"Ergo clears" are a custom mod with Cherry MX Clear stems and 62g Korean springs. Cherry Clears have their own unique spring that (to my knowledge) isn't used in any other MX switch, and is heavier than MX Blacks by a good bit (I think up to ~90-100g bottom out force? can't remember).

Stock MX light springs (blues, reds, browns) bottom out at roughly 55-60g. MX Blacks are closer to 80g bottom out weight, 60g actuation.

Zealios have smoother stems than Cherry MX Clears, so compared to a 62g Ergo Clear, a 65g Zealios would be very similar (less friction -> more force required to match a Cherry switch).

I trust Zeal when he says that Massdrop springs are stock Gateron springs, but I couldn't find any info on bottom out weights compared to Cherry springs. If someone could post that info that would be great, I'm interested in grabbing some Gateron Black springs but it's hard to find the info.

Don't really like the board it has a pinging noise and the enter key (when pressed slowly) makes a squeaking noise..
Clearly the board is not lubed correctly..

Never learned how to do that..
So if i where you i would not go with the KUL..
Or if you must you can buy mine hahaha..  :p

I don't believe you'll ever find a mass produced keyboard that has lubed switches. That would take up a lot of production time to lube switches that the majority of users will not care about because they don't know the difference.

Well sunshine, you just have to simply use GOOGLE and there are heaps of videos and pictures showing you how to lube anything, not just Cherry Switches and keyboards  .

Mine has the MX Clears and the ping is quite loud.

In fact, it happens to sound strikingly close to the sound of the crowbar in Half-Life.

I'm hoping the Zealios will cure it.

It's a long shot I know but has anyone tried these with heavier springs?  I'm really liking the MX blacks in my numberpad but Zealios are lighter than them, and I'm planning on lubing so they'll feel even lighter still.  No point going stiff if the bump disappears or becomes really pronounced though...

Only reviewers have had them, so probably not. I have a bunch of SPRiT 85g springs coming from another buy in case i don't like the lighter switches.

I reckon they won't.  But there's an easy fix just wet the springs with lube on both ends and the ping will be 100% out of our life forever.

On another note: what are you guys planning to experiment with these?

I'm going to try them with 45g-50g-55g-60g-62g-65g-67g-68g-72g (they might work with 45-50g unlike cherry since they are smoother and will stall less) and try lubed variations of springs I will like (I suspect I will only like 65g for a typing board and a 55g-60g or 62g for a gaming board though).  There is also the option to test them without the factory lube by wiping it off the leaf.

Actually, half of the switches come in today. Other half on Tuesday. (shipment was actually closer to 200kg).

Btw, Bingecap drawings have been made. Valid order # entries were placed into random.org. Winners were removed after the #1 order number was selected each time. 194 entries, 10 winners.
