Kopi, it's not hard to unscrew up the spacebar. Just put it back under the hot sun and squash it between books to straighten it. You may have to do this a few times to correct the warping, but not anything that can't be done safely.

Getting a 6.5x, ha, that's the tough part.

I've got a Unicomp one you can have for shipping.  It was all of $25 for me, plus a couple of bucks for stabilizers.  I just used it for dying experiments, so it's two shades of red with a black case. 

Shipping probably kills it though.
