Totally agree with this. Even though you can just ignore all the posts, it still clutters up the thread and leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Not an issue, as those who are coming here for a repeat visit have probably already contributed something to the community. First timers with a post count of 2 are more likely to see the OP before posting. And if not, someone can politely point it out to them. Since it's written there, it stands as the undisputed rule.

What you want is a 30g Topre dome. Topre switches aren't a discrete unit like MX or alps.

Also what might help is if you were willing to trade one of your domes for it. Most people don't have extra Topre parts just lying around.

I think shaming people who are habitual beggers and non-contributors should be enough. I give stuff away on this thread occasionally, and when I get multiple PM's about the same item I always give it to the person who contributes, not the moocher. Peer pressure and norms should do the job. If you have a really egregious moocher the mods could give that user a scarlet letter in the form of a custom tagline (e.g. "Beggar").

Yes, you are correct on all counts!
I'm certainly willing to trade 40g domes for the 30, even on an experimental/loaner basis. So if you want 'em back, that's not a problem. It's true that most people don't have Topre stuff lying around; it's hard to get. Sometimes people dissemble a JIS board (for example) to harvest domes for an HHKB, in which case there'd be some leftovers. I hope a crazy HHKB 30g fan is lurking, otherwise I'll be on an expensive trip to amazon.co.jp soon

Yeah, problems with 64bit and webcam support. There are tons of "fixes" on the web, nothing worked.
