If anyone has a single, very thick (preferably R1) Alps keycap, please let me know. I am going to start making Artisan Alps and giving them away but I need to make a master key first.

:llama:

I have spare alps caps, but they're not very thick and are ABS :/

Hey, could I potentially buy one alps cap from you, I would love to test out the quietclicks I just got.

PM me your address and I will send it free of charge. :thumb:

Much appreciated. I just realized that the alps caps I have should be fine. I'll make them thicker by reinforcing the walls of the master key

If someone has a Dolch PAC hard drive, or compatible one I would be up for one. I can pay. Just hopping on the Dolch PAC train.

what do you need?

I need a screen, or at least the backlight part of one.  Or I can pay for shipping if you want to get rid of the whole thing.  I already have a keyboard.

And I don't think I will need a hdd so if sby can help sethk out with that it's great with me.

Thanks!

Topre Fn? I'd prefer a white HHKB one but whatever works as I appear to have lost mine.

[Free] - Dell AT101W (Alps black complicated) - GONE (HOME FOUND)
« Reply #4815 on: Sat, 12 September 2015, 02:45:45 »
edit: this keyboard has found a home - someone on IRC (you know who you are)

Hi all,
I have a Dell AT101W board (slightly yellowed), that needs a home - ps2 cable
- I have not tested it, but can if someone wants it as a whole unit

I am in So. Cal, so CONUS only.

I checked with USPS for shipping, and they suggested flat rate box - about $18 (OUCH!)
- standard shipping w/ tracking was only $1 less

I'm more than willing to part it out to get shipping costs reasonable (should be able to ship for about $6-$8
- ALPS Black complicated switches
- KEYCAPS - full set

I prefer not to break up keycaps as parts without giving peeps the option to take it as a full set.

No need for paypal ~ If i'm not making money, I don't think they should either

I put item(s) in a box, and get exact shipping costs (specs), then tell you; You go online to usps and buy the shipping label yourself, save the label as a pdf and email to me, and I'll print it / ship your box next business day.
- no potential for fraud - shipping label is non-refundable, non-changeable, etc...

Just free stuff (you pay for shipping)

Gone

Model M 1391401 free to a good home in the US. It has been cleaned and is working. You pay shipping costs.

This was supposed to be a project board but I need to focus on other things. It is missing both Enter keys, X, C, and a couple of F# caps. No cable (or very dirty cable if I can find it). Can ship with some extra stems lying around.

Will be shipped in a priority gameboard box (I am waiting on these boxes).

PM if interested. Thanks!

If you have tried contacting jdcarpe without luck, give BunnyLake a try.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

If you need

  • Omnikey Ultra controller board
  • Focus FK-2001 backplate, clean and rust-free, also the two little removable pieces that attach the cover to the case
  • Individual FK-2001 caps (I don't have the whole set)

Does anyone have extra Topre Realforce screws?

I lose some in the modding of my HiPro board.

2-3 of each would be really helpful!

Also if someone has 2-3 55g domes =S I'd love to be able to test 55g on a hipro board. Since my HiPro is JIS layout I need 91 domes total, more than what comes with an Ansi 55g dome TKL
(Also I don't want to buy one and rip all the comes out without trying out 55g first)

Thanks!

If you take one to your local hardware store they should be able to help you find replacements by matching size/pitch/length.

So do you have only the controller, or is controller a model?

It's a separate PCB with several ICs on it. I was mistaken though: It says "Omnikey Plus/102 Controller".

I'm surprised is taking this long for someone to jump on it.

Seriously. Although I'm kind of glad to see that a few non-Topre owners comment on it, but still leave it for someone who can use it instead of just poaching it for trade. GH has made me proud today.

I will pick one out of the first 3 people to post in this thread (please not PMs) showing interest in participating in the http://ctrlalt.io/payitforward.  If you are selected you will be getting a package from me.  Cheers...  :)

Edit: I just started a game of ARAM, so I won't be checking this for about 30 minutes or so, so hold tight...
