Hello! I have a Ducky Shine 3 with blank black caps, but i think it would look cool to have any yellow ESC cherry cap to match my Zowie EC2-A scroll wheel! If anyone has a spare cap lying around, i'd love to take it off your hands!   ;D

I will take your shine 3, thanks for posting it in free stuff!
I know, I know...

It would definitely look cool to have a yellow Esc, regardless of anything else.  But with a black keyboard especially.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Ah thank you! I have been lurking for a while though... and I'm still watching the classifieds, at least! It's hard to believe that people are spending fifty dollars for a keyboard ornament, but the community seems very tight :)

If any of you fine gents have a realforce keycap puller, I'd really appreciate it! I can pay for it as well, but just decided I'd ask here to see if anyone had some spares they weren't too attached to. Looking to use these as a switch puller tool.

I've made my own from a clip board holder clip, but it's a bit too wide to get to certain switches.

You don't want the realforce puller it'll scratch keycaps.

Edit: nevermind, reread your post I'll see if I can find one of mine.

Thanks - I'll leave it for someone else to enjoy, the alphas are nice but that's all I would use and someone else may enjoy the whole board.

The switches look and sound like they are similar to the alps clones in my Siig Minitouch, they catch like fingernails on a splinter going down. *shivvers*

I've got a few things that I wouldn't mind throwing onto this thread but sort of stop myself knowing it'll get sniped by people that just farm for free stuff.

Not saying that's what this person is doing or passing any judgment, I mean we all start somewhere :)

Lol, how can people be so vain to not even participate at least a little before asking for stuff. xP Speaking of which, I really should post more on Deskthority.

In any case, I think I'm going to pass on the V60 case that eksuen gave me as a temp case for my Alps Duck Eagle build. Since it doesn't fit the PCB well, I don't need to hold onto it anymore. :)

Whoever wants it, either post here or PM me. If you can pay shipping, its yerz.

Is it double shot? I just paid a fair amount for one, with no space bar nor modifiers, exactly like that, very generous.

Are they MX caps? I'm not sure how this free stuff thread works, but I'd be interested in those. :/

Edit: It's just a few keys I might be interested in then I wouldn't mind sending it back into circulation.

Yes they are MX caps, SP doubleshot DCS profile to be exact. These where all found in a long gone crap bag and are originally from the raindrop group buy, except the one ccng '00' cap.

I'll take them, if that's alright with you. If they don't match my current profile I'll put them back up here. If they do I was only interested in a few anyhow and I'll post it back up.

I know there is probably a better place to ask this since I am not giving anything away, but I see a lot of activity on here regarding games and such, so I figured this audience may know.

My nephew is a big fan of Steam and I will be getting him a Steam gift card for Christmas.  I am wondering if there are deals to be had in this space and where/what I should be watching to get them.

I appreciate your input.  :)

Steam does winter sales.
It should start a few days before Christmas and will usually last until the end of the year, if not a few days into the new year.

So I would keep an eye out for that :)
