Anyone have a few loose tactile ALPS they'd send me so I can sample them? I'm looking for SKCM Black, SKCM Salmon, and SKCM Orange specifically,. I just need one of each and if you don't all three types I'll accept just one type.

PM'd you, I might be able to help :3

Does anyone want any old, switchless Alps-compatible PCBs? I have about five-six of them sitting around and I have no need for them, they'd still be good for diodes/other electronic bits if people wanted them. I can't bring myself to throw them away but I'm going to have to soon. Some Wyse, Apple, Chicony, etc.

I also have a dirty Focus-clone (or maybe it's a focus board? Not sure) with four-tab white Alps clones (I don't know if they're simplified or complicated) and thin, double-shot caps. It's labeled as an E&E-101-MK-AT/XT keyboard. It has a BAE, Full-size backspace and Split RShift. I don't have the original cable so I have no way to test it but I do have a spare barrel jack cable that I can throw in, you'd just have to rearrange the pins to match the PCB.

And finally, I have something like 80-87 Green, Clicky Razer Switches. They're like MX Blues, kind of.

If you want any of these items then just pay for shipping and they're yours :thumb:

Gonna use just one 180g spring for the Esc. Wouldn't mind a few in case I lose one or decided to use another in a future build.

Anyone have a kinesis advantage they are willing to let go? I would be willing to pay if it's in good condition. I am a student and can't justify the expense right now, though my wrists are starting to develop problems, so I'm desperate to acquire one. (I'm in Canada so it costs $450 CAD shipped to get a new one here).

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I am a student and can't justify the expense right now, though my wrists are starting to develop problems, so I'm desperate to acquire one. (I'm in Canada so it costs $450 CAD shipped to get a new one here).

I'm sure we'd all like a free/cheap kinesis advantage...

As I mentioned, I wouldn't mind paying. The only reason I didn't post in buy/sell is because I don't have a high enough post count.

Anyone have a kinesis advantage they are willing to let go? I would be willing to pay if it's in good condition. I think in the context of the thread it came off as you asking for one for free. If you lack the post count to create a topic in the buy/sell section, I suggest that you involve yourself in the community more and add to the conversation meaningfully, you'd be shocked how easy it is here.

Then as it appears you already knew, the post was inappropriate for a thread titled "Free stuff." There are plenty of other forums and venues in which to buy a Kinesis Advantage that don't require a post count. A quick perusal of one shows plenty recently available for considerably less than $450 CAD.

Does anyone have a PuLSE SA R3 1.75 modifier they would be willing to sell?  One short on my JD45.  Function (Base), Megaphone (Novelty), or something off the Fix/TSAFOX kits.  Would also take a couple black blanks.  Pimp my keyboard has them listed but they are sold out :(  Might consider any matching two keys from a crap bag if they don't clash horribly.  Thanks!

Keep checking ebay. Yesterday an Advantage in like new condition with the wrist pads went for $196 CAD shipped. You could also get the older model in beige that should run a little less most of the time.
