I would love to register interest for a PBT Space-bar. Looks like I became interested in it a few months too late.

Considering that there was a minimum order, and that many folks will get 2-4 of these - I suspect there will be a nice aftermarket in the short term.

Check with Matt3o, he was selling pre-production samples that he got when checking the quality in the classifieds.

I might have one black one to sell, check in after they are shipped out. But I live in Canada so it would probably be cheaper to find someone in conus.

Anyway, got my black spacebar on my work board and it looks basically identical to the rest of the keys. All hail matt3o.

No, they're against the idea that the customers have to pay for the mold, since while it costs a lot at first, the owner gets to make keys at a profit once he has it. Since everyone paid for it, everyone should be a part owner of it, which we didn't get.

That said, I no caer i luv it. My space bars om nom nom.

Sounds like somebody needs to take a Midol. I've dealt with Brian for years, both as a consumer and professionally, writing software for his company as a contractor. He's always been great to deal with on both levels.

I have a red one that I will never use. But I am in Australia so depending on where you are postage might be a bit of a deal breaker.

With black/white I mean the the ones that match the colours of the white or black HHKB Pro 2.

Is it normal for the pbt space bar to have a little bit of discoloration on the front side? It looks like it is coming from where a sprue was. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, or if it is unique to the space bar I have.

Thank goodness. I gave away a ton of these and still get asked. Somehow I only ended up with one white one after over-promising hahaha. And we have 2 hhkb in the house. Ooops.

Green has a very broad color range, which is why many don't offer them (I don't know if they will or will not be offered here though). Lime Green and Army Green are both green (okay granted this example is a bit over the top, but I hope you get the point), but they just feel completely different. There are shades of green that remind of nature, but there also are shades of green that remind of danger (toxic green anyone?).

Just my 2 cents though.
