INTRODUCTION


Inspired by Textualis or Textura style of calligraphy, inks and pens.
The project revolves around hand drawn, fully custom "Old English" / "Textura"/ "Gothic"  style of fonts and super clean modifiers in warm whites and blacks.

No reason to be honest. Its just the traditional way of kiting.
I do like your idea. Please leave a feedback. If a lot of people want it we can turn the Nordeuk into a standalone set.

your epbt renders are in OEM.
you also seem to be missing proper kitting renders.

for someone who has put five sets through IC, and ran two of them, I don't appreciate these mistakes, shortcuts, and low effort sets.
do better.

About missing kit renders, probably the designers are waiting for all feedback before making all neccessary renders. Gmk Zen Pond is on gb atm if you care. Also I don't see the "low effort" here, care to back that argument?

Thanks for bringing this to my notice. Some people in my discord were also complaining about having the images not loading.
I changed all the render to the imgur server. Please have a look and check if you still have the issues.

I'm sure you've tried different variations but I feel the mods are too inconsistent. Alt and Menu follow the same stroke logic, whereas you'd have to rotate your fountain pen halfway to achieve the Control shape. Redesigning tons of icons is hard so I don't fault you for that. Maybe consider text mods.

We tried the same stoke direction for all mods and it did not look good enough. The stroke width is same all across but stroke direction are changed in some mods to make it look more balanced.
Actually, we started with text mods. It was way way too busy (specially for upper cases) and in the end it just looked weird and out of place. Another thing was sizing them according to the alphas which made them essentially too big/ look more cluttered.

Just wanted to say that I really enjoy the icon mods and would be sad to see them gone in favour of text mod (I'm assuming text mods would look horribly busy).

I think there could be allowances made for a symbol or drawing requiring a repositioning of the hand. You lift your hand when reinking the nib anyhow so it could be assumed that you'd add in the other half of the symbol later when you dot your i's and cross your t's (if you were to actually write it out).

Thanks for the feedback. We wont be switching to text mods as I explained in the comment above ( WAY TO BUSY).

Basically what you explained is accurate and absolutely correct. There can be strokes on either sides. Depends on the artist and their choice and how they draw. We have spent months on this (the number of custom icons / font is actually too much)and made sure the mods and texts look as balanced as possible.
If we chose to do same stroke direction ( which we actually tried), it would look really unbalanced.

On a side note : We actually revealed this in our discord server earlier and made necessary changes and then put an IC here. So basically this is the second iteration.
From my POV, the alphas + mods are very very clean and and aesthetically pleasing to look at. However, I would encourage people to criticize and give feedbacks if you want something to be changed.

Update :

As promised we were looking into making the whole project more versatile.

One of the major changes is the removal of the spectrum kit
I was not particularly happy with how newer renders looked and was quite far from my actual vision. I wanted pops of colors but there was a definite issue there which had to be addressed
The solution was to remove the series and replace it with something else. The replacement being the ROYAL series. This also comes with more accent options.
There are a few changes from the previous kitting. I hope you guys like it.

GB will be delayed

KBDFans have taken the stance to pause new ePBT GBs until the previous GBs are fulfilled. Once an old GB is fulfilled, a set from IC will start GB.
This would in turn mean that the production delays would drastically decrease.

We 100% agree on this stance.

A lot of previous GBs needs to be fulfilled before we can get a slot for GB.
I will update with more info once I receive it.
