Hello everyone, I’m proud to finally be introducing the ShianaSSK, a classic TKL design making its debut as the first aluminum keyboard designed in México.

FAQWhat even does "ShianaSSK" mean?It isn’t really anything related to the design or inspiration for the keyboard, I just decided that it sounded and looked cool. When it comes to "SSK", this is a tribute to its ancestor, one of the first keyboards with such layout; the IBM Model M SSK (Space Saving Keyboard). Which also sounds cooler than TKL.
Will a hotswap PCB be offered as an option?No, it will not. We are only going to offer the solderable PCB to avoid having to make different designs for different layouts, this is not convenient with the current chip shortage.
Can the engraving on the accent piece be changed?No, as this is a laser engraved signature, our manufacturer would have to manually adjust each different design, this could hinder the process which is something we want to avoid.
If this is not the final price, how is it going to vary?The design of the keyboard is fully ready so no changes in price will be coming from that but rather from a potential increase in the pricing for materials, and also depends on what we gather from the ic form, if we decide to include a carrying case, dampening foam, etc.
Is black going to be the only color offered?Potentially. We’ll offer silver if there’s enough interest in it.
Depending on the demand for this keyboard, we’d like to run different and more ambitious colors for future runs.
Will you have a special edition? I don’t have anything planned for this but I’m looking into making a smoky PC version with SS.
Ne soundtests avail?As I cannot provide the best quality for a sound test we’ll only have a couple of videos at the channel designated for this project in Rheset’s discord server.
Sound testWill the keyboard include any kind of sound dampener?It wasn’t designed with any foam in mind so the inclusion of it will depend on its demand (fill IC form if interested).
GB format?FCFS. All units will be sold at
rheset.mx and GB will run for a month or until all spots are filled.
When is the GB happening?Nothing sure yet but we are aiming at late Q1 2022.
Can't this be an unlimited GB? The maximum units number is capped as this is my first GB and I want to make sure every unit is up to my standards and doesn't exceed our capacity for QA and fulfillment.
