Price Announcement Europe

Sorry, but I have to inform you we will be raising Filco prices for Europe.
I felt it was only fair to give you guys on Geekhack a little advanced warning as you have been such a great support.
I can see a raise of at least £5.00 (GBP) on all models and it will be soon.
The Exchange rate has forced this on us.

Amazon USA prices are not affected at this time.

the weak US dollar makes it look a little less worse too.

EU wasn't such a great project though

The Euro at least perhaps wasn't. Without the EU on the other hand, there wouldn't be any buying Filcos at UK vat or to online prices. There probably wouldn't have been any buying Filcos at all =P

They do however do a lot of silly things down there in Bruxelles. I wish they could stick to trade treaties and easy movement within the union. And stay out of all the other businesses.

The EU is great but the euro sucks. I'm really glad we're not in it.

Yes, actually the EU is ok. However seeing (a minority of) germans work all day and take 2nd jobs just to survive is kind of depressing. If everyone was doing average it would be such a nice place to live.

If I could decide I would just drop the euro, seriously.

The prospect of the Euro's present situation was exactly why I voted against Sweden also getting the Euro, and I am happy that I did. The Swedish economy is relatively strong now ... or so the government tells us ...
