Really looking forward to the Resident Evil 1 remake for PC. I have some good memories playing the first three games way back then. :)

The last few Resident Evil games haven't really been doing it for me. I enjoyed 4 alot, but I wasn't much for 5/6/Revelations.

Now I just need to hope for a remake of my all-time favorite game from the series, RE2.  :thumb:

Yeah, but ePSXe is always a bit janky for me. I actually have an original PC copy of RE2: Platinum on CD, the game itself works pretty well, but the cutscenes don't work at all. Even the small cutscenes, like talking to the gunshop owner at the beginning of one of the campaigns, is all screwed up. I looked around for fixes, but couldn't find any.

Will be nice to see a graphically updated version of 1 for PC.

Does anyone remember Dino Crisis? xD I would love to see that series come back.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but the new Witcher looks to be insanely cool. Can't wait to tax my desktop with that one.

So I just watched the mighty No 9 trailer...

sigh... It's precisely what people asked for.. another megaman..

But.... I just can't imagine myself playing this game..   there's some nostalgia from when I was 5-11 playing this type of platformer.. but, I would probably put the game down in the middle of that level..

Anyone else feel this way?

Nope!

Mega Man was one of the most solidly built games ever made. Megaman 2 and Megaman X specificly are monuments to brilliant game design that teaches the player new mechanics without hand holding or guiding. If MN9 is even a fraction of the brilliant design of those 2 games, it'll be amazing. Inafune didn't directly work on any of the ****ty MM titles (6-8 and MMX 6-8) and what he did work on are all instant classics. Hopefully MN9 brings back this old school way of game design and shown new devs they don't always have to assume the player is a drooling moron.

I'm not saying that the ol' skool wasn't good..    but now that "I've become a Geezer"..  Playing that isn't as appealing as it once was.. that's my point..

I know what's gonna happen.. they're gonna lock me in a room with this dude.. then I'm gonna jump around, memorize his patterns, and kill him, then I get some sort of upgrade..  then repeat for 8-10 bosses,  then fight sigma..

i mean.. that's it really..

Yeah, Legacy of the Void is my most anticipated game as well. But no way it will be released in early 2015.

If we are lucky the Beta starts in the first quarter of 2015 and the game is released 6 months later. But since we are talking about Blizzard I wouldn't be surprised if the release gets postponed until 2016...

I finally played through Planescape: Torment after being on my to play list since 8th grade.  Well worth it, and I already had put $45 down for Torment on kickstarter.  So the game I'm looking forward to the most is the new Torment.

the longer LotV spends in alpha/beta the better IMO... its sc2's last chance at being a properly good game... so far its looking great, just hope Blizz go for it...

but yeah I think a beta in the middle of 2015 seems reasonable with it coming out late this year, prob in time for xmas or something like that

I'm not even a huge Mortal Kombat fan, but Jason is going to be in it so.... now I have to buy it because Jason. I ****ing love Jason  ;D

... also Predator is in it! Don't care if it's a gimmick, Yoda and Link were awesome in Soul Caliber.

I reeeeeally hope Crystal Lake is a stage in the game  :-X

I was looking forward to… something. I've forgotten what it was… maybe the new Age of Empires game that's been confirmed to be under development? Idk, I'm not really sure. I'm too afraid they'll mess up.

AoE2HD has been a huge disappointment so far. They've already stopped supplying bug fixes, which unfortunately means the game has never reached even the state of the original game. Sigh, the industry is so ****ed up nowadays.

Well, perhaps it was the "Day9's game"? Or a final release of the ultimate Cookie Clicker update with dungeons?

Crazy nice stick!

I've been meaning to build myself a stick, so I can have fun with arcade games. Mostly Metal Slug, but there are so many great arcade games.

I have the hardware, but haven't gotten around to making a case yet.

I think building a "hitbox" style button controller is better..

I've always known that digital directional inputs were better since I started on the Kawaks emulator for online mame play.

Ok.. so the Boin-Boin' game is out..

and.... We got a "decent" port I'd say..  I can't change keyboard controls, but the default's not so bad..

It's missing the "soft engine" supposidely to make skin look softer, I don't think that's really necessary..

There's the slider to adjust the boin boin physics from "natural" vs "doa (m0ar boin)" ..

So i'm happy with that..

Kinda.. idk.. looks lack luster on PC..

Doesn't support my native res of 2560x1600..

Only supports 1920x1080, and 3840x2160(4k)..

WEIRD....

x4 SSAA supported

Overall.. Decent...

Sounds terrible :/
Almost wish I didn't succumb to the dark side and just pirated it.

Well, we're really nothing missing anything from the Console editions except for the soft engine..

And.. IMHO, the soft engine probably doesn't do anything and was a gimmick to begin with..

It was probably some sort of blur filter..

and since we're using SSAA anyway, there's really no point in a blur filter, since the default textures will look softer due to down-sampling from the higher resolution.
