Cyberpunk looks wack
I've already pre-ordered the game on Steam, I'm expecting that my VEGA64 Red Devil would be sufficient to run it at reasonable ingame setting at 3440x1440. I've planned to upgrade my card to a NAVI 21/23 Red Devil when it's released around middle of next year.

Yep, Wasteland 3 should be good. Never paid previous ones, but seen second part and liked it, so I better stay and wait for 3rd.... or should I play second anyway?

Having played so many games already, it's honestly not a test of my skills or remotely a learning experience.

The majority of single player games, I just watch people play them on youtube.

They got the high end GPUs,  and they do all the walking / grinding ..  You watch the eye candy .. They perform the minimum wage laborious tasks.  Win-Win,   and you don't even need to buy 1080Ti..

That said, Hearthstone 4K, 16xSSAA, 1080Ti..  Worth it !!

It always better when you do it yourself, unless it's something you know you are too stupid to do. The ENTIRE point of video games as a medium is that it's hot, requiring user input to fully get the experience. It's like paying someone to go to an art gallery for you and telling you their interpretation of everything.

So tp admits he is stupid then?

That's a very childish thought. kekekeke

Grown up life is not about better or worse tasting orange juice. It's about getting to the nutrition quicker and more efficiently. It only has to taste good-enough to get the juice down.

Do you need to watch an entire baseball game ? NO, most of the time you'd just like to know the score/outcome,  because the game is the same everytime, at most you might go look for a highlight reel.

Weighing all of the options and routes TO THE ACT OF. There is a generally efficient outcome. You see that playing the video game as is, consuming the conventional amount of hours, is silly.

As a 15yr old,  The game is an opportunity to sharpen reading skills, problem solving, and reflexes, entertainment is a side effect.

At 50yrs old, the adult already has those skills, they're already honed enough. The slight ounce of entertaining distraction is the only useful part of the delivery, and even then it's not so crucial.

In the same way, adults may not watch whole movies or read entire fantasy novels, They only need the synopsis, and it's satisfying enough.

Without any gameplay footage that trailer might as well be of pigs being drowned in honey mustard. Blizz/Acti has a habit of dumbing down streamlining each iteration of it's releases and assuming their player base is full of agencyless dribbling retards.

It's hard to make a traditional FPS which can live up to expectations.

Doom 2016 has already refined the OG fps genre to its maximum setting.

Valve is trying something different, and it's mainly to build platform to further mooch off of developers. Their goal and moves are clearly to become the gaming kingpin/government,  NOT to make great games.

This is why supporting G2A / Kinguin / Cdkeys is anti-authoritarian.  It offers a challenge to existing overlord structures.  I agree people will get hurt in the cross fire,  but the concentration of all this gaming tax going to one place is wrong.

Developers should do business with more agents outside of steam.

Your first statement is an impossible notion, proved wrong by your very next statement of how DOOM 2016 reinvented the fps genre. You say that as if game devs are completely tapped out of ideas and innovation for an entire genre of games. People said the same exact thing when Quake came out, and when Unreal came out, and when Half-Life came out, and they will continue to make the flat assumption that what is now is the peak, when we really have nowhere to go but up.

But what we DON'T want is a VR only side mission in lieu of an actual long awaited sequel that for all intents and purposes already has a very good script outline (see Marc Laidlaw's resignation letter from Valve)

Did you get that impression from the trailer, that it's VR only or because it's a prequel? As the developer interview stated it's a full fledged game and production as contrasted to smaller scope VR games both from themselves and other developers.

My punctuation probably should have been clearer. I knew it was VR only but wondered where noisy got the impression it was a non-game/side mission length/experience.
