The upper housing and housing base are both crafted from PC to ensure maximum light transmission. We also apply EDM processing and polishing to the housing parts, which further helps with light transmission and also reduces friction and makes it smoother to the touch. This makes these switches the perfect match for Angry Miao's keyboards with highly customizable in-switch lighting.

Feel

303358-2

For the stem, we chose Y3 composotie material. This allows us to achieve a friction coefficient 0.04, which is almost 70% lower than POM and LY materials. In addition, we electroplate all moving and static components to prevent oxidation and extend their lifespan. We also pre-lube the switches at the factory for your convenience.

303356-3

With an actuation force of 37gf and a bottom-out force of 45gf, the Ice Silver Pro switches provide a light and smooth typing feel, while managing a crisp and powerful rebound. The logic behind this is that many mechanical switches with an actuation force below 40gf don't have a satisfying feeling rebound. To get around this issue, we use a bottom-out force of 45gf, which provides a strong rebound. This means that despite the lighter actuation force, we can still achieve the typing feel that we want.

Sound

Most switches either require you to give up on either typing sound or RGB. We wanted both with the Icy Silver Pro switches, so we paid special attention to the sound profile.

That's why we chose Y3 composite material for the switch stem. It provides the same sound profile as POM stems but with a 70% lower friction coefficient. We played around with the size of the stem and spring, and created what we believe is the perfect combo between typing feel and a thocky sound profile.

There is no such thing as a hifi sound profile for switches. No.

How is this "HiFi"? Do I plug my Sennheiser HD800s headphones into the amp and connect that amp to the switch? Truly a technological marvel!

Joking aside. I suggest removing any mention of "HiFi" as there is no such thing as a "HiFi" sound profile for switches as stated by another person.
