Put this Expresscard into my beloved X220, it gets stuck. I don't understand. the spring wont' eject the card.  Is it non standard spec?

What if your mouse was stuck in your laptop.

Lack of storage is the problem with modern laptops. Not enough room inside. Bring back the chonky bois of yore, with drawers.

the spring should eject the card, at least it is how it works in my hp, when you put it in you felt excessive friction (should slide in easily)? if no it might be that the ejection mechanism on your trusty x220 is dead, and anyway if it does not come out you have 2 choices, either you take a screwdriver and start to tear into the pc (time consuming) or take pliers to the card (risk of damage to the card/express connector).

I think it's just too thick. I can feel the spring tension when I push/pull on the card, so the top and bottom is just too tight.   Sigh...

AND my earbuds just broke.. Wonderful.. sigh...................

Sigh.. I feel like they don't last long. Maybe I'll get metal ones.

The cord seems the be the biggest weakness.

I've always stuck with sennheisers, they last ~2-3 years a pair.

Guess I should be getting one with metal braces.

i had some akg k141 mk2 that had a detachable cable. lasted about 6years, they included 2 cable in the box and had to buy a new one, in the end the connector on the headphone side broke, and akg are not making parts anymore, and if you are more of a headbuds person venture electronics makes some very nice stuff, and cheap (their monks are about 5 usd and are nice, and they have in ear monitors with replaceable cable, much more expensive though)
