What manufacturer did the Koreans do this group buy with?
The color and font are great, but the key caps themselves are what I'm interested in.
They look a lot more like cherry double shot keys than that of SP. I think it's the glossy look. I don't own a lot of keys from SP mainly because the first few keys I do get from them don't really please me because of their strange profiles.
Group buy would include 88 Cherry-MX-compatible ANSI keys sized to fit modern standard-layout keyboards like the Filco, the Leopold, the Poker, Das Keyboard, Ducky, Rosewill, etc.
What manufacturer did the Koreans do this group buy with?They used Signature plastic. For some reason they come up with the most awesome color layout. All we can do is copy them.. Who says USA can't copy infringe with the best of them :D

SP has three or four fonts available, have you seen them? You might be able to avoid most of the new legend fees if they have something that looks good.

Just throwing it out there, if the green could be slightly darker (think a hunter as opposed to a kelly,) I would be behind this 100%I actually really like the green. Just my opinion though.

I'm not an ISO person, just recalling the ISO keyboards I've used, they have that key because of the shorter shift. Also if they use the upside down J enter, there is a key on the capslock row. Which in UK is the # key.
But yeah. Just making you aware to this.

Oof, please no custom cheese Esc key. It will look lame despite Hazeluff's awesome SVG skills. I think of this set as defined more by the green than the "cream cheese" white anyway. I would be fine with the shamrock key, since SP already has the mold, or a GEEK HACK key, or even an ordinary Esc.
I like the geek hack key as part of the base set as an extra key (not replacement for the esc). So it would be 88 key. As long as it doesn't add more than 1-2$ to the price.88 keys, original idea had stepped caps in the main kit which isnt the case anymore

As much as I think a Shamrock would be good for the Escape I also liked the proposed idea to make every one of these full set buys come with a GeekHack key; something in the colors of the set that make it really special.

New set that we're all waiting for now uses a font that doesnt cost money so it will drive the price down, pricing will be similar to the red on black DS set

Mmm, well... a bit more expensive but if 100 sets were sold then that would only be $8.40 extra, or $16.80 if 50 sets... :P At the 50 price bracket, for me, it's only be 53 + phantom (currently 33 on ragnorock's gb) + 16.80 = 102.80... :P not that bad... Not all that different from the 86 I'd pay otherwise. But I get that it makes a difference to people, but it's kinda saddening. :/7Bit layout is really weird, it would require a lot of keys, and everyone is going to use that layout differently with each keys doing different things so its hard to make a general kit for it

I wish there was some love for the 7BIT Phantom layout... but I guess there are too few of us.more of the lines of too many big keys, and that everyone will use a different layout, if you want blanks I can make a kit for you, but even with blanks people will want different sizes, definitely not easy to make a generic kit

I can see that the very first layout of the cream color made by hazeluff varies from an actual pictures taken from it. I know its all about people taste, but the actual photo of how the cream color will look like is barelly cream at all, I see mostly white with touch of cream in it, kinda like white wanna be cream. I dig the color from hazelhuff, just want to make sure what cream color will be in this set, I personally like vivid colors and the original pics taken from the cream are suspicious cream color.

- SP does not even have the colour Hazel used in the layout, since picking any other colour choice could have a terrible outcome, we are going to stick with the original colours. For reference you can direct yourself to the OP, the colour codes are WCK and VBQ
- Not sure why the space bar is off colour in the original set, but I will get to the bottom of it, this isn't PBT so this shouldn't happen
- I will check on the cost of a plain JRET to see if thats an option for the ISO people
- Gamer kit is possible but with the 11 keys add-on, 10keypad add-on, and ISO add-on, people really still want more add-ons?
Spacebar is different since its a leopold board and sp didn't make leo space bars when that was done.

Spacebar is different since its a leopold board and sp didn't make leo space bars when that was done.

Yes it will fit Filco and Leopold, not sure if the new Leopold have new stem spacing though

If at all possible a Leopold-compatible space bar would really make my day. If not, and if THIS is possible, I would like an extra space bar to modify.
last i heard, it'll be an universal space bar, compatible with filco/leopoldCorrect the spacebar will fit Filco/Leopold, I am not sure if it will fit the new Leopold that's coming out later this year, so do not hold me to that.

Will Shift + arrow fit on a 1.25x key?

I'd say option two... unless the right shift also says "shift" for some reason.
Also, funky symbols on those yellow keys. :P (isn't <>| more common for the key near the left shift?)
Hazel is going to see if a arrow and "shift" can fit on a 1.25x key if not then it's kinda decided for us
I had a look and posted earlier. I think it needs to be checked with mellisa. But depending on how big the arrow is, it is very very tight for fitting in the "shift". It might be better to go with just arrow to get a larger arrow/consistency between arrow sizes between the two shifts.
cherry legends are going to take awhile before they are ready. they still have to create the SVGs, double check with melissa how much the legends are going to cost. collect money, have SP do test runs until they get it right..
My academics come first. So It might be a 2+ weeks before I can start properly.
If only everyone wanted them like a month ago when I was doing nothing everyday.

round 3 set came with an extra key for same colored backslash as modifiers. but that looks odd and ugly.

That would mean that all of the Function keys should be dark. That's how it's done on WYSE keyboards.From the looks of the OP I'd say the goal is something similar to the Model M scheme.
