Using a Filco Blue right now, but in retrospect I think my first mechanical should have been a Brown. D:

From the leftovers list there seems to be two blues, a red, and some PBT caps left.

I knew it was not going to be fast, but its been what seems like very long at this point. It maybe normal but just wanted to ask as I am sure all the others that already paid are curious as well as to the actual status of the group buy.

According to this (quote below) post before the group buy payments were due, it "should" have only taken a couple weeks from the time the order was placed. Obviously, this didn't happen, but iMav made it clear that he wasn't sure that they would be in stock so this was not a guarantee. Now that we are at the "couple of months" stage, however, it seems like it is taking a lot longer than what was expected.

Again, the wait doesn't bother me. I paid my money and as long as I get my keyboard and keycaps in the not too distant future, I will be happy. It's not like I don't have any other keyboards to use in the mean time. What has started to bother me (as you can probably infer from my post last week) is that there is no lead time on the parts. If we were told, "It's going to be at least another 2 months," it wouldn't make me happy, but atleast I would have an idea of the status of the order.

So my question is....is there any chance of getting a potential lead time or an update in general from the supplier....or are we just going to continue to operate under the "you'll get it when you get it" mindset?

I think the stiff space bar is a Cherry thing. I've never heard of any other manufacturers doing it.

They will ship out the 12th or 13th (of Jan 2012, of course).

I anticipate having them in my hands next week. (week of the 16th)
