Title: The Hellmak layout
Post by: hellmak on Sat, 12 June 2021, 18:27:37
Figured that be a more interesting title than "Hello from Sweden".

So yea, building a layout called Hellmak, its a 40% layout based on Colemak, but with toggles and modifiers on the thumb, and numbers placed in a more sensible way, and symbols placed to be easily accessed when programming and chatting. It feels very lonely because so far I've yet to find people who take those things into consideration.

When I'm not geeking out about keyboards, I am a rollerskater and an aspiring programmer!

I joined here mostly to find someone to build a split keyboard for me :)

Hi Hellmak!

I'm interested in your layout. I've been intrigued by non-standard layouts recently.

Do you have a visual layout of your layout so I can see what you mean?

Hi cbr!! Is the name after the Honda motorcycle?  :)

see if this link works?

lgcy is sort for legacy, and are layers that are left from an earlier board. Java is from when I programmed Java, gonna change it to "Coding" or something soon!   Top row is just for settings and troubleshooting and does not have caps.
