It's different. It's fun (if you like old typewriters). It's what you make of it, I guess.

My typing speed seems to be about the same as with any other set of keycaps (80-90wpm).

Interesting. I was hoping someone would have them at a meet so I could test them out. They seem to go up for sale on massdrop every once in a while. Maybe i'll find a used set to try out one day.

With regards to typing speed I'd assume they're like any other uniform flat profile, in my case I generally type a bit faster (5-7 wpm) using uniform flat profiles because you don't have to lift your fingers and can almost slide between keys. From there it's just a matter of if you like how the keycaps feel on your fingers when you use them, I'm not a huge fan of the typewriter style keycaps but I think that has to do more with the sound that how they feel.

Yes. I try and shoot for 6 months but it all depends in how much I use it.

The last tube of lube lasted me 3 runs but I'll be lucky to get 2 out of my current batch from tech keys

and did a rgb check

What POS board is that? I'm not really an ortholinear type of guy but that's looks quite nice because it's not a 40%. Not that I'm against 40% (had one and loved to bits) but I a 60% ortholinear would probably be cool. But well, it defeats the purpose I think (because of the length you need to reach to keys and stuff).

I can't remember. It was from eBay a while ago.

It is just used for her to put keycaps on, I couldn't get it to work.

I put this together last night. Previously was an older s60-x (non led version) with Gateron reds. I didn't really like the feel of linear though so decided to do an upgrade. Now it is a new s60-x with Gateron blues. Purple plate. GMK plum.

That picture doesn't even do the Moai justice. This one is a little bit better (still not great though) you can see some of the swirls in it.
