The tools of the engineering student, the Casio fx-991MS and the fx-991EX (Classwiz).

I've been thinking of doing a post on all my mechanical pencils and pens sometime as the collection has grown quite a bit.

Calculators are faster w/ Carbon fiber..  That's an Engineering FACT..

I have the older version of the MS..

Eh, I actually really like the look of the FX-991 EX. Nice colors and the texture is pleasant. Incredible calculator, though the name 'Classwiz' is pretty tacky. I still use both interchangeably though as some things are a bit quicker to access on the FX-991 MS, such as the engineering units (milli, micro, nano, etc).

Casio is the way to go for dealing with complex numbers, in my opinion.
