Blossom
An Open-sourced Alice/Arisu Style Keyboard Case

Hi everyone! I'm a new member of the keyboard community and I found making keyboards quite interesting.
Anyways, I've been working on this keyboard project for three months, and I hope you guys will like it!
This keyboard is inspired by the original Arisu keyboard which FateNozomi created, I integrated the keyboard with a gasket mounted design to make it sound better

---Specs---
Dimension: 30x142x375cm (DxHxW)
Typing angle: 5 degrees
Mounting Method: Gasket Mount using foam/rubber strips
(Also included sound dampening material between PCB and Plate)
Compatible with FateNozomi's PCB

---Updates---
14/11/21 -- Update a newer version of layer image and update DIY guide in GitHub

Howdy. I like Arisu boards so it is cool to see this post. I am spoiled when it comes to open-sourced information. Please consider checking out Kkatano's discord and the documentation provided there on the bakeneko and other boards. ( if you have not already ) The level of information and the experience behind it is pretty awesome.

My personal opinion if you should start a GB 3 months into the hobby is don't do it. Let people check out your open-source stuff and create stuff on their own. Running a GB is a lot of work and even the most experienced in the hobby run into issues. The proto just doesn't look good enough to run a GB off of. Keep making more until you have something in line with something from a store.

Lastly, I feel like you could provide a more concise description of what the board is on this thread. I would love to see more information that is clearly organized.

Kudos for the documentation you have already and the fact that you open-sourced the project. :D I'm sure others have opinions but I wanted to be as transparent as possible since I like where you are headed.

Here is the link to the KKatano server. Check it out if you have not already.

Cheers.

Much thanks for the advice!
I had checked out the Github repo of the Bakeneko board before, and I found that it provides a much detailed guide on the DIY process, so I'm planning to update my DIY guide to a much concise version.

I think something that would be very useful would be releasing steps that people can look at and edit should they want to. I think that's the whole spirit of open-source where someone can look at another person's project to either edit it to their own liking or learn what they do to improve their own projects.
